Should I take human growth hormone?

Im 26 and an otherwise healthy male.
I've been into martial arts since childhood and am now begining to compete in MMA.
My problem is injuries, I have allot of injuries from my years of training that prevents me from getting into fighting shape, I can train solid for a few weeks, then get injured from old injuries which will take me out for a few weeks.
it seems allot of people who compete, i know take it. but i've always been quite proud of being natural as im naturally quite strong/athletic. but i cant continue training, because of injuries!
please help me out here!
thanks allot for the answers, however I would only intend to use it short term to attempt to clear my body of injuries. i dont want to get any bigger or have an unfair attvantage over an opponant, just to clear injuries and stop using if a fight comes up...

  1. It’s up to you, if it’s legal or medically recommeded then aslong as you don’t break fighting rules do it.

If it breaks any of what I said, it’s better to Go Out with pride than to Go On with shame.

But in the end, You Do what you got to do.

  2. Depends, you can actually get the nutrients from day to day food. Anything artificial is not good for the body. I have seen people with bad results due to wrong usage. Think, consult a doctor before you get one.

  3. you’ll have further health problems in your latter years of life if you do this & it might be an idea to check the laws of your country because its illegal in some parts of the world

edit: theres also the fact that if a drug test is required once competing & the GH is detected you’ll be disqualified

  4. First of all maybe you should
read about it and see the side affects like:

    – Acromegaly
    – Premature death (in case of acromegaly)
    – Heart enlargement (due to prolonged use of HGH. Can’t be reversed)
    – Low blood sugar with risk of going into a diabetic coma
    – Excessive hair growth all over the body
    – Excessive water retention
    – Liver damage
    – Thyroid damage

And things like that but if your sure you want it go ahead! :)
