Is this a good routine to get a good body?
How does a 15 year old male get a perfect body?
Hi, I 15 years old, with an average body. I know I've still got a bit of growth left (I'm still growing) and I want to do as much as possible to make sure I grow to my full potential and have a nice body by the time I'm 17/18.
I've heard about many things like avoiding xenoestrogens etc, needing to raise testosterone and human growth hormones naturally to achieve maximum growth.
I also want to be extremely healthy, good looking and really intelligent.
How do I do it? There is so much information it's hard to understand it all, and make sense of it. Please help me by giving a detailed answer if possible.
Thankyou so much for your time, It means the world to me.
My routine, I was thinking of doing would be something like this:
Monday, wednesday, friday: 20 - 25 mins running, + 20 - 25mins of strength training (using the safe teen workout from scoobys workshop
http://www.scoobysworkshop.com/teenworkout.htm
tuesday, thursday, saturday, Interval training and sprints (to raise human growth hormone)
Sunday: rest
January 17th, 2011 - 00:24
When I was a gym rat, I worked out three days, one day off, two days, one day off. But I was (and am) older so your younger body can handle more.
I checked out the scooby’s workshop site. As someone who has spent hundreds of hours in the gym, I can tell you that’s a very good model to use.
As to your routine: Pretty good to start. A month or so, maybe a little longer – you might want to either up the amount of time for both cardio and strength, or the activity level – of each. You will need both to be both strong and fit.
Thanks for the ten on the last answer, and I think you’re on your way with this!
