Is there any way i could grow any taller?
Im 19 years old male. My height is 1.63m- 5.4 inches. I would like to grow a few centimetres or so then i'd be content. Ive consulted a doctor regarding taking human growth hormone. But he said it be pointless as i'd only achieve of 1-2cm for the most at my age. Is there any other way? My dad is just a little bit taller than me. And my mom and myself are the same height.

No, there isn’t any way for you to get taller, I wish there was a way so I can get it my self. 5.4 is not so short compare to 5 ft (my self) it’s usually hereditary. In my family there are a lot of short people. But they said for kids that play a lot of basketball that they grow faster. No, sure about that cuz I used to play when I was younger and didn’t grow not 1”. Hope this helps. If you find any way to get taller. Hola at me :)

I had a cousin who was of average height at 18. he joined the RAF and found he was doing a tremendous amount of exercise, and eating a huge amount of very nourishing food. By the time he was 22 he had grown another three inches. Men can go on growing until 21 – this is not abnormal or exceptional.

There is surgery but it’s very expensive ($80,000+), painful, and you are out of commission for months. Essentially they break the Femur and slowly make it longer by continuously breaking the bones everyday for a number of months. Sounds terrible and I’m sure it would suck. But if it bothers you that much and you have the time and money it may be worth doing some research. I’ve heard you can gain about 3 to 7 inches!!! In all honesty though if you get to 5’5" I wouldn’t worry about it to much. I’m 5’7" and my height isn’t all that big of a deal to me. I’m more concerned with my bald head =P. Maybe also look into some custom orthotics which are very comfortable and will give you an extra cm or so.
They can lengthen the femur or the shin bones (tibia and fibia). Check out this site http://www.betzinstitute.com/ and http://www.beautysurg.com/cgi-bin/stories/stories.cgi?RecordNumber=41
Seems interesting!
