I hope so b/c Iam 5.9 and would like to be taller. Im not obssesed but it would be nice. My friend was really short, shorter than me and the next school year he comes back taller than me. Is it cause he took injections or his growth spurt perhaps? By the way he played football that summer and I heard excercicing and diet increase growth hormone. I think I screwed up with my daily routines and now Im behind and close to ending puberty.(problem is growth plates closing)

Not unpredictable if you can read your own genetic code. Good eating habits will get the most of your height potential, but really won’t make you much taller than your inherited genes provide for. Remember, your genes come from both sides of your family, men and women, some dominant, some not. My neighbor has twin sons who are short like their mom but an older son and daughter by his first wife who are tall like him. In any case, don’t beat yourself up for being short — it’s not anything you have control over.
FYI: The best running back I ever saw was 5’9" or so. With his low center of gravity and legs like concrete pillars, no one could bring him down. When he went to college, he made the all-state team. And during baseball season when he was a catcher, he could guard the 3rd base line and runners would just bounce off of him.

If you are still within the growing age then perhaps you can add a few inches by eating a balanced diet and leading an active life. A nutritious diet that includes fruits and vegetables, dairy, cereals, meat, and plenty of water will aid the natural process for enhancing height. A good and proper night’s sleep is also essential for the growth process. Taking part in active sports along with some stretching exercises can have a cumulative effect on human growth. There is not much we can do to grow taller after puberty. There are many products in the market today that claim to increase height of adults, but they are all scams without sufficient scientific evidence. Surgical options, though available, are EXTREMELY RISKY and of course expensive. This leaves us with basically two options.
1.Stretching Exercises: – These exercises will help you improve your posture. You’ll be surprised that how much of “Height” is hidden behind your slouched back. You can, at any age, add an inch or two of height by simply improving your posture. Follow the link below for information on specific height enhancing exercises:

2.Second, you can create a “Taller” effect by following some smart fashion techniques. You can easily add another inch or two of “illusionary height” by improving your dress coordination. The link below can provide some input on height increase through fashion effect:
