I've tried everything to rid myself of acne. Please Help!?
I guess my acne is only 'mild', but nothing I do will make the pimples go away. They only show up around my chin, but occasionally I'll get one on my forehead or cheek. I really only have constant pimples on my chin that do not go away. I am naturally pretty pale, so any marks are extremely noticeable. I have many (at least 5 on each side of my chin) little skin-colored bumps, and then there are a few skin-colored bumps that are a bit larger in the middle of my chin. I also have the remains of a huge cystic pimple that hasn't gone away, and that originally appeared back in October. It was extremely painful to begin with, but now all that is left is an occasionally sore red circle. My chin breaks out regularly, usually one or two pimples at a time, but there is always a mark left, even though I usually don't pop them. I'm 16 and recently moved to a pretty humid environment with hot sweaty summers and freezing winters, and since I moved from Arizona, where it's extremely dry, I was thinking that maybe the humidity is getting to my skin. I've been here for about 8 months, and I would think my skin would've adjusted by now.
I've used everything these past 8 months, so I'll try to list them all (sorry this is long, but I want to be as detailed as possible):
-Clean & Clear Continuous Acne Control Cleanser
-Clearasil Benzoyl Peroxide Spot Treatment
-Neutrogena Acne Cleansing Cloths (ones in the orange tub)
-Neutrogena Rapid Clear Pads and Gel Spot Treatment
-St. Ives Apricot Scrub
-Noxema (Original and scrub)
-Neutrogena Stress Control Cream Cleanser
-Noxema Blemish Pads (these worked well for me two years ago, but do nothing now)
Natural/At-Home Remedies I have used with no effect include aspirin, witch hazel (which was all I had to use in Arizona for soft, clean skin), yogurt, and alcohol.
I miss my beautiful, clear skin that has seemingly abandoned me since leaving AZ. I am currently using PanOxyl Wash in the morning (contains Benzoyl Peroxide), Aveeno Clear Complexion Cleanser Pads at night (these seem to help 'brighten' my skin and help with scars, so I will probably stick with these), and I moisturize with Clean & Clear Oil-Free Morning Burst. I have recently tried Bye Bye Blemish drying lotion, and this seems to help a small bit with visible whiteheads, but does nothing to other blemishes.
I'm on my step mother's insurance, and she won't let me see a dermatologist.
*Please don't suggest ProActive, as it burns my skin and makes it red.*
I don't know what to try anymore, since nothing really helps. Am I just going through that teenage pimple phase? I'd really appreciate any advice or suggestions. I miss feeling pretty and secure with myself.
what do i do about facial acne?
I have tried proactiv and all those other ance treatments that you can think of, i just need a home made product type thing.
for example: i have been using the combination of baking soda and witch hazel, and its working.
now all i need is a remedy for MY acne.
please help!!!
Does this seem crazy as an acne prevention treatment?
I use equal parts every thing accept a little less hydrogen peroxide and menthol alcohol for cuts and such. I get witch hazel, rose water, tea tree oil, menthol alcohol, hydrogen peroxide, and 10-15 crushed aspirin's. I mix this all up and use it as a toner/ acne treatment. Remember I don't put too much alcohol or peroxide a lot less then the other ingredients. It seems to be working wonder's but do you feel this is harmful in any way's?
So, I got some Witch Hazel for my acne. What do I do with it?
Sorry if this question sounds stupid, but what is the purpose of Witch Hazel? I heard it treats acne, and since it's cheap, I just picked up a bottle. Do I apply it and then wipe it off, and then apply or Benzoyl Peroxide... idk. What do I do?
I have a lot of witch hazel and benzoyl peroxide. I usually just use the peroxide by putting it on before I go to bed. Should I / Can I add the witch hazel for a more effective treatment? If so, do I use it mornings, nights, etc?
A little more info: I have very oily skin, and before this I was using astringent. Can I replace it with the witch hazel... are they even the same thing?
Thanks for helping me out, guys. :)
Natural vs Conventional treatment?
Natural acne remedies are as effective as those conventional treatment that dermatologist prescribed?? I tried almost every over-the-counter products to the most expensive brands but seems dont work.. Ive read that products contain tea tree, witch hazel and awapuhi is great for skin...Ive tried proactive, lancome and thinking of using clinique or dermalogica.. But im sick of using different chemicals on my skin now.. I am trying diet modification.. But i dunno which really will work not just to clear my skin but to keep it clear and maintain it.
Acne treatment ?
My fiance used witch hazel to combat his acne but it seemed to make it worse. He is now trying salycylic acid and finds it more effective?
Has anyone else experienced a reaction to witch hazel?
Does anyone know why it may have worsened his acne?
Thanks
What is the best acne skin care treatment?
What is the best skin care (acne) treatment? Pro Active? Or do I want to go get facials at a professional? Also is there anything I can do around the home (like rub sugar on your skin to get rid of the dry) that I could do that might improve my skin? HELP PLEASE!

Acne help and advice?
My mum says I haven't got acne and its not severe enough, but its gotten to the stage now, where I want to just get rid of them.
I have had them for a couple of years now, but this year its been dreadful. The pain I am going through is awful.
They hurt alot and nothing seems to work.
I tried so many products and they haven't worked. Usually products I try for the first time seem to look like the work on the first wash, after that it goes downhill from their.
Its weird as one day I go into college looking good, with only a few spots that are visable the next day I look like I got chickenpots. Its wild and goes from one extreame to the other.
I have tried Zinc tablets, Witch hazel, Clearasel, ClearOderm, Tea tree oil, simple, spot pads. Nothing.
I actually think Ive got nodular acne too.
I would take accutane but the side effects are not too pleasing, and I don't know where to get it from presides doctors.
vilantae sounds good, but you have to buy online.
Help please!
