Does the Clearpores pill work?
Does the ClearPores herbal supplement pill work alone for treating acne? Ive heard many reviews about how ClearPores system sucked! Oddly it WAS voted number one acne treatment of 2008....and its not one of those scam websites. Well i don't want the full face system...and the pill is the most expensive so it seems it has the most impact on clear skin. Has the pill worked for anyone acne, or the whole face system. 10 points for best answer!!

What is the best skin care facial product for severe acne?
Im am a teenager with severe acne/blackheads and oily skin type. For daily use, I wash my face with a light foam cleanser but it isnt doing much help for my acne. (I also use witch hazel toner) I have heard from many people that nutregena and proactive work realy well. But I have also heard that proactive has alot of chemicals in it that can OVER dry your skin. I usually wear makeup to school to hide my hideous face full of acnes. If any of you out there has had this experience and/or know a few things about treating acne, PLEAAAASE give me suggestions and any skin care products you recomend. Thank you so much and all your help is appreciated!
Can I use a scar fading cream while on Doxycycline?
I'm fifteen years old, and within this year my skin has become very oily and I've gotten a lot of breakouts. On top of this, I also have a lot of dark post acne marks on my face which are not fading very well on their own. I know these eventually do fade, but they are extremely disfiguring and I've had some for as long as since february.
I went to my doctor yesterday and I was put on Doxycycline, Duac, and another topical antibiotic which I think is for my back. However, when I asked my doctor about doing something to fade the acne scars, he was very vague and didn't really answer my questions. I know that treating acne will prevent scars, but I would really like to do something about the existing ones. They're almost worse than the acne itself. I realize that these antibiotics and benzoyl peroxie creams really won't do anything about the scarring.
Is it safe to use gentle over the counter fading treatments (without hydroquinone of course) while using all these treatments as well? and do you know of any effective fading creams that wouldn't make me breakout? I mean, aside from being prone to acne, my skin is not very sensitive and nothing makes it itchy or flaky.
Also, once I finish the antibiotics course, will my acne remain subsided or will it flare up again?
What exactly is sandalwood, and can it be found easily in stores?
I heard it's great for treating acne scars, I can't afford any expensive dermatological treatments right now, they range from 400-1500 per session. If there are any other acne scar at home removal techniques... perhaps that have worked for you, please let me know.
and please star this so others who might know can answer, im sick and tired of my acne scars.
What are the best birth control pills for ACNE treatment?
I am looking to switch from my current birth control pill (Diane 35) to see if another pill will work better for acne control. I have noticed since I have been on Diane 35 that I tend to get bad breakouts right around the time when I am taking the second row of pills in the pack. Anyway, I went to my doctor last week and talked to her about switching pills. She prescribed Alesse for me and told me to give it a few months to see how it would work. After my appointment, I asked a friend of mine if she had ever been on Alesse to find out what it was like and she told me that when she was on it, it caused her hormones to go crazy and she said that it was the same for all of her friends who have taken it. So now I am really nervous to take it. I haven't filled my prescription yet so I am hoping to go back to the doctor this week and ask to be prescribe another pill. Which brings me to my questions: Have you ever tried Alesse and experienced a side effect like that? and What is the best birth control pill for treating acne? I am really hoping to find one that works and be able to stick with it. * Also, my doctor said I could try I course of antibiotics to clear up my skin. Has anyone ever tried that?
Thank you! :)
Have you ever considered seeing a facialist or an esthetician to help you with your skin concerns?
If you have had facials, do you consider them a valuable resource in treating acne, blackheads, aging, dryness, etc? If you haven't considered facials, why not? Would you see a skin professional if you knew that doing so would dramatically improve your skin and educate you about which skin care products work and why, and which ones don't? Or would you have a facial if one would provide you with an incredibly relaxing and pampering experience, with the added benefit of improved skin appearance? Thank you so much for any answers!
