people who took antibiotics for acne open plz?
im a teenager and ive been suffering with acne for 2 years. at first it was really bad severe acne, and now its i guess what you can call mild acne. its totally ruining my life :( the whole summer i stayed inside because i was so embaressed. most of it is blackheads on my nose, chin, cheeks and forehead. then i think those turn into the whiteheads\pimples. ive tried everything natures cure helped a little, but then stopped. i tried murad and it just made it worse. SO DONT EVEN BOTHER SAYIN PROACTIV! i drink water all the time and take a multi vitamin. im using panoxyl-isnt working, tea tree oil soap-isnt working, clean and clear advantage-isnt working and clean and clear blackhead scrub-isnt working. IM DONE WITH OTC PRODUCTS NONE HELP! so now i want antibiotics because when i get strep and get medicine my acne clears up, but comes back in about a week or so.my point is i want an antibiotic, but NOT ACCUTANE-too harsh
is there any others YOU have used? tell me ALL about them plz :(
i dont want herbal stuff like cucumbers and crap
and NOT the whole "TOOTHPASTE ON A PIMPLE" thing
school starts in a week and i dont want to go :(
New Face Routine Help?
Im looking for a face routine that works FAST.
I have tried many things, my acne gets better, but It never completely goes away.
I have oily skin. My acne is on my forehead, around my nose and starting around my chin. I have a lot of whiteheads. My skin is bumpy around my nose. My acne gets very red and noticeable.
Around my house I have The Body Shop Tea Tree Oil Cleanser, Toner and Exfoliating Wash, Clean and Clear Invisbile Blemish Treatment, and Cephasil.
I have tried the home remedy which invovles honey, olive hoil, lemon juice and cinomon. It was too much of a stink, hassasle, mess and discomfort for such a long time. I used it for about 3 weeks.
What products should I use? (I prefer using something I already have but Im open to drugstore products that you are 100% amazed by)

I have blackheads due to a mud mask!!!?
I've had blackheads around my nose, cheeks and forehead due to a mud mask that I applied years ago. Nothing that I have tried (cleansing wise) has helped. I cleanse 2-3 times a day followed by moisturizing and application of tea tree oil and Retin A.
BTW, I've also had severe acne since I was 10.
Do you think the mud is lodged in my pores eternally? And what could I try for my acne - cleansing doesn't work.

How to use tea tree oil?
I have oily skin with mild acne. (moslty blackheads and small bumps) ive heard it help control oily skin and acne. should i mix it in with my moisturizer? is 100% natural australian tea tree oil. or should i apply it like a toner all over my face? or just on spot? help me im confused!

using tea tree oil after i removed blackheads, is that a good idea?
i read from somewhere that after i remove the blackheads from my face, i should clean my face and then apply tea tree oil to prevent the blackhead from growing again.
but then when i consult the people from body shop, they said not to use tea tree oil after squeezing out blackheads.
but after i squeeze out the blackheads from my nose, i applied tea tree oil. is that a good idea?

What are some strong natural oils, soaps, etc. that help against acne?
I've all-ways had quite a acne problem. I've stopped using cover-up (clogs the pores) and putting lotion on my face for some time now. I have naturally oily skin and therefore, a great acne problem. My acne has calmed down as I've gotten older (I'm 17 now). I do have a 'break out' (besides the norm) about once a month. I use some apricot face scrub and both peroxide and rubbing alcohol. I know rubbing alcohol dries out the skin so, I use it on bad spots. I also used some prescription cream but, I'm running out and I don't think I can get another prescription. I'm interested in using natural oils and soaps to help my problem. I also suffer from blackheads and occasionally acne on my shoulders. I'm also allergic to adhesives so, I can't use blackhead tape. I've heard tea tree oil works well, does it work for people with oily skin? I also have many scars from acne, is there anything that will help them?
