Best moisturizer for dry acne skin?
So I have started using Skin ID by neutrogena. My regimen is a cream clenser/mask, toner, and anti-acne treatment. It's been working pretty good but the only thing is it drys out my face really bad. So does anyone know a mosturizer that doesnt cause acne and helps with dry skin? Also with SPF maybe? Also do I use the mosturizer before my skin care regimen and then rinse it off when I do my regimen or after?
How to cover up my acne?
I take school pictures in 2 days! I'm freaking out because I have a lot of acne. I am very faithful about my skin care regimen. I use a spot treatment and everything!
I do use foundation, but not everyday. However, I need to know how to cover up my acne without my makeup being too cakey, because it seems like I either have light makeup with visible acne, or a lot of makeup with just bumps!
I'm just really upset because nothing I try works, and my mom said maybe she will take me to a dermatoligist in a few months, but that doesn't help for my pictures that I take in two days!
Or do you know any home remedies or anything that will make my acne less noticeable?
how can I get rid of acne quickly? need major assistance?
I have this national conference in 10 days, and I want to look good for it. I'm an 18 year old male who works out 5 days a week and I'm currently on the Exposed acne treatment, but I'm on day 11 and it doesnt seem to have done really anything. I was on Proactiv for 9 months, which worked wonders, and then it seemed to stop using it/I got concerned after it didnt work well for a couple days so I stopped using it right away. I've tried baking soda scrubs/moisturizer, the la roche posay biomedic wash and effaclar k and effaclar ai spot treatment, and while that didnt really make the problem worse, it didnt really help either.
It just seems like I keep going in circles and I can't get anything to work for me. My acne is mainly on my chin and above my upper lip. It's just driving me crazy and I can't seem to shake it and I want to look good you know? I have a good body and I know the girls want that but with my face it makes me concerned...and college starts in 2 months :O after I work out I shower and during the workout if I'm real sweaty I rinse my face with water
please help. any suggestions/solutions that can have me not necessarily perfect, but relatively clear, in ~10 days? or should I keep believing in exposed
Chelsea T - do you think I should abandon the exposed system after the 11 days or whatever and go to the clean and clear? and whats your regimen that you use for that?
ohjeez- if my skin has been dry, but now seems ok cuz of the exposed stuff and using cetaphil moisturizer before that, what should i be doing? and what was your skin care regimen for the wash?
Blackheads, cysts, other acne?
I have had mild acne flare-ups for 2 years or so, but my blackheads around my nose and chin have been very bad lately. For blackheads, i have tried everything- exfoliating, biore face strips, pro-activ, warm washcloth, neutrogena wave, clean and clear blackhead eraser, and differin. i also have tried using a tool but it hurts and they come back. what should i do to get them permanently gone??
i have other acne on my chin, along with one cystic pimple that just came up. i have no idea what to do with it... it just will not go away. and it hurts too.
i also have a little acne on my back... what can i do about that?
answers appreciated! thank you in advance!
Right now, my skin care regimen is washing my face with the neutrogena wave, using witch hazel as a toner, and putting on oil-free spf 15 lotion. what should i change?
Skincare regimen for acne? What order to apply spot treatment, moisturizer etc and waiting time…?
I was wondering what was the proper way for skin care regimen. I tried doing a lot of googling, but couldn't find one.
of course first you should use a cleanser to wash your face. after the cleanser, what should be next? moisturizer or acne spot treatment? And how long should I wait to apply it on?
Also if I decide to use a cleansing pad, like oxy (the ones that come in pads that contain 2% salicylic acid). How would this regime work? 1st-cleanser 2nd-cleansing pad? 3rd-spot treatment? 4-moisturizer?
Can someone help me out on this. Also do i need to wait 5 min between each step or can i do one after another right away. thanks.
