How long does it take for bio oil to get rid of acne scars?
I don't have severe acne scars, just some around my mouth that are extremely annoying.
My sister used bio oil and it did WONDERS to her skin, so i'm getting some too.
But to anyone that has used it for acne scars - how long did it take to get your face back to looking normal?

What's the proper lemon juice treatment to clear acne?
Alright well I really want to get rid of my acne and right now i use a topical gel and take a pill called solodyn. But I hear lemon juice is quite effective. How should I go about putting this in my routine? Right now I use my cream and take 1 pill at nigh each night. Should I put lemon juice on my pimples before or after the topical gel. How long should I keep it on. Please just really looking to find a schedule/routine to use to get rid of my moderat/severe acne.

I don't have severe acne just. a few blackheads and some unsightly white heads now and then. but lately I've realized that my acne is more persistent than usual. I'm 18 now and it's been about 3 yrs since I've had to use acne medicine. what .is the the best type of oyc meds out there?

im a teenager and ive been suffering with acne for 2 years. at first it was really bad severe acne, and now its i guess what you can call mild acne. its totally ruining my life :( the whole summer i stayed inside because i was so embaressed. most of it is blackheads on my nose, chin, cheeks and forehead. then i think those turn into the whiteheads\pimples. ive tried everything natures cure helped a little, but then stopped. i tried murad and it just made it worse. SO DONT EVEN BOTHER SAYIN PROACTIV! i drink water all the time and take a multi vitamin. im using panoxyl-isnt working, tea tree oil soap-isnt working, clean and clear advantage-isnt working and clean and clear blackhead scrub-isnt working. IM DONE WITH OTC PRODUCTS NONE HELP! so now i want antibiotics because when i get strep and get medicine my acne clears up, but comes back in about a week or so.my point is i want an antibiotic, but NOT ACCUTANE-too harsh
is there any others YOU have used? tell me ALL about them plz :(

how to get lighter skin through home remedies (please read)?
i don't want LIGHTER SKIN,as in change my skin tone to a lighter shade.
i'm a tanned complexion.
but i have had earlier trouble with severe acne on my cheeks and forehead.and my acne left hyperpigmented spots.
the spots are visibly gone now,but the area that was affected by the acne,has just developed this darker skin tone that is one shade lighter than my original one.
i'm not looking for treatment of spots here.i just want to bring the darkened skin back to normal.
it's not a skin problem.i've visited the dermatologist.
but he says it's due to the acne hyperpigmentation and it will take some time to fade naturally (like half a year or so)
but i've gone through the torture of acne itself for about 7 years now.and i can't go through another year of hiding my blemished face for another year.

Will tanning make my acne worse?
I have severe acne on my face, back and chest. If I start using the tanning bed, would it make the acne worse, better, or have no effect?
Also, if it WILL make my acne worse, is there anything I can use that would keep it from hurting it?

i literally have severe acne on my forehead. it wont go away, ppl will just stare at it.

What drugstore products (that actually work) can you use for severe (nodular) acne?
So, I have pretty severe acne...after doing some research online I think it's called nodular acne. I get these huge, painful red bumps all over my nose and sometimes on my forehead. I also get some smaller acne on my cheeks and on the sides of my face, but that seems to clear up more easily. The big, painful acne is the problem. Right now I wash my face every morning and night, and I use one of those oil absorbing sheets after school. I also have tried a variety of different spot treatment creams and gels for the really bad spots, like my nose, and they get rid of the redness, but I still end up with these weird, embarrassing, hideous bumps that never go away. I've had some of them since 4th grade, and I'm in high school now! It's so irritating!
I really want to go to a dermatologist, by my family has no insurance, and my parents say we can't afford it. (My dad lost his job a while ago, so money is pretty tight.) So, are there any products that you can find at, like, Target or CVS or somewhere that are affordable and actually work for my kind of acne? And also, is there any way at all to get affordable help from a dermatologist if you're in a position like mine? Or is there any way to get prescription strength acne medication without going to a dermatologist?

Okayy, I'm a guy with light-moderately severe acne. Recently, its gotten worsee and I'm trying to find out why.
If you see a blackhead surface (to the point where you can just lightly scrape it off with your finger), should you take it off? Cuz I'm paranoid that the resulting pores are causing acne.
