Salicylic acid burn on dark acne spot ?

I have this hyper-pigmented dark spot from picking a pimple. The pimple's gone but for a couple weeks it's left this darkened hyperpigmentated spot in that area.
So yesterday in an attempt to lighten the dark spot, i exfoliated it with brown sugar, n then later on I put on some of the clean and clear advantage acne spot treatment with 2% salicylic acid.
It burnt my skin bad, n I thought the salicylic acid would dissolve the hyperpigmented skin or something = [
The spot is now darker n more noticeable.
What is the quickest thing I can do to heal this ?
Thank you.

mild comedonal acne and blackheads?

I have very slight comedonal acne, and I have a black head problem, I am currently using the st. Ives apricot scrub, I also have decided that my skin doesn't respond well to Benzoyl Peroxide, so I am resulting to Salicylic acid which hasn't bothered me yet. I am wondering if there is a better over the counter treatment for comedonal acne and I definitely want anexfoliater, and like a topical retinoid type something to help rid of it as well. any helpful information would be great. thanks

How do you treat acne without using "spot" treatment?

After using a basic cream cleanser for a month I'm convinced that the "on the spot" acne treatments/cleansers I was using for 6 years that contained either salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide was making me break out more. I started using the treatment again and I broke out again.

So now that i've been using a cream cleanser and nothing else I have MUCH less acne. now its about 5-7 zits... pretty consistently for the past few months.

how do i get rid of the last few zits without using harsh treatments?

How do I remove black heads and acne bumps on nose as well as acne scarring? plz help?

I have went a derm and it did remove a lot of my acne but the acne scarring is still there. I also have these acne bumps and blackheads on my nose!!! It won't go away. I bought this netrogena toner which has salicylic acid in it. Is there anything else that will help?
those biore strips are expensive and I heard they only do a half job and some say their great but I think it's too much for what it will do.
Instead of going in to do a facial couldn't I just buy a facial kit?
THey pull those blackheads but i heard it leaves scarring!!
so i don't want to do that again.
will MICRODERMABRASION be very helpful or not really?

Really Bad Acne I Need Some Help, Please?

Okay, so I've looked at some acne questions people have asked and I've noticed that they are kind of broad. They don't mention what skin type you have, how acne prone you are, ETC. So here some stuff about me before I continue-
I'm thirteen
I've got really acne prone skin.
Its kind if oily
Tons of acne scars
No blackheads
Its a genetic thing
It comes from stress(I am guessing).

Okay, so I've tried Clearasil, Panoxyl, Biore and Neutrogena.(None worked for me) I am currently using the Anti-Stress Foaming Face Wash and its helping, some. My face doesn't break out as much anymore, but I still have scars and tiny bumps across my forehead nose and chin. I don't want to use make-up because it won't really get rid of these problems and personally I find that I am too young. I don't want to use proactive because I've heard your skin gets totally dependable on it. I am convinced that my skin works with Salicylic Acid washes, but do they hurt your skin? And also, I've heard of something called Skin ID, is that really good?
I've tried going to dermatologists, but all they can do is get rid of the acne, not the scars. The scars are what I am really worried about.

So my main question here is: What are some good washes, remedies or masks of anything else you've got that can get rid of the acne and the scars.

Okay, thanks!

Should I continue to use this acne wash even though it's made my acne worse?

I'm using Neutrogena Body Clear Body Scrub for my chest and back acne. It has just your basic 2% salicylic acid as its working ingredient. Prior to using it, I only had very mild acne on my chest and back that really didn't bother me. My back acne was actually worse than my chest acne, but I've been using it for about 2 weeks and thus far it's made my chest and shoulder acne a lot worse, to the point where it's moderate instead of mild. I've heard that acne medicines can "bring the acne to the surface" before it starts to clear everything up, so I'm still using it, hoping that it's clearing away the chances of future acne. Should I continue using it? I'm just not sure because of what I heard about acne medications making it worse and then clearing it away.

Which acne solution works better?

Salicylic acid or Benzoyl peroxide?

I have read many different things about each so this is what I have gathered:
Salicylic acid: increases the cell turnover therefore exfoliating the skin but it does not help with blackheads or whiteheads
Benzoyl peroxide: breaks up the skin cells so it helps break up the black/whiteheads but it makes the skin red.

Please tell me anything else you know because I can't decide which to try. Can they be used together? How fast does each work on acne? Which would be better for fair/sensitive skin?
