How to avoid red bumps after you shave?
Everytime I shave my feminine area, I always end up getting red bumps everywhere down there. It's really unattractive! How do I avoid them? Or how do I get rid of them once it does happen? Will lotion help?
How do girls remove their armpit hair without leaving red bumps and removing all of it?
Every time I shave my armpits in the shower, I end up accidentally cutting myself, not removing all the hair, or having red bumps appear. I want to know how girls remove their armpit hair so well? I have complications with that.
I use the Schick Intuition Plus Sensitive Care razor and soap when shaving.

I know what a lot of people consider to be acne is not what I am experiencing... I am not talking a couple whiteheads or a small cluster of red bumps on my chin (OMG total freakout & call it "severe" acne..) I have been breaking out on my cheeks with deep pimples, or shall I say dark red lumps, under the skin. They are painful at times because of all the pressure I assume. Its like the bacteria cant escape and just infects my under layer of skin! I have been using Cliniques acne solution for about a week and a half, and all I see is DRY SKIN! How does a topical treatment like this prove effective when I feel like the stuff can't even penetrate the thick scar tissue on top of the blemishes and get to the infection??? Any recommendations from people with this type of acne? Any body experience GETTING RID OF IT?!? I would appreciate any help... This is getting ridiculous.

How can i get rid of the rash on my nose?
Every summer I get a red rash on my nose that looks like acne but it's not, it's just many tiny/medium sized red bumps especially on the tip of my nose. I don't know how to get rid of it and it just breaks out randomly and won't go away. This year, it seems to have started after I was outside in the sun one day and got worse everyday after that. My acne medicine doesn't help it and my Aveeno moisturizer seems to have made it worse over night. I also use a Neutrogena Adult Acne Treatment set every other night to help my breaking out and get rid of my old acne scars and was wondering if that could possibly help or make it worse. Any ideas how I could clear this up because it seems like it may be spreading to my cheeks a little as well. I'm pretty sure it's not rosacea but I'm not sure. I've been to a dermatologist (for my acne) and she never identified me as having any signs of rosacea. Any ideas are much appreciated!
how do i get rid of blackheads and pimple scars?
when the red bumps go away from pimples night before my face looks somewhat clear until i look closer in the mirror and see all these forming blackheads.... they aren't huge, but I CAN SEE THEM. how do i get rid of acne and blackheads fast and easy? and cheap if possible.
People who know about or have used Benzoyl Peroxide for acne?
I've been using 4% Benzoyl Peroxide for three weeks twice a day and it has really helped me clear my blackheads and whiteheads that i had, but these last few days im noticing actual pimples forming. Before using Benzoyl Peroxide, my acne was mostly blackheads and whiteheads, once in a while a few pimples (no more than 3 at a time), but currently i have about 10. I havent had any new whiteheads or blackheads, in fact, im almost free of them, but now there's pimples! I've heard that this is temporary, and that with any treatment that works you initially break out bad and then clear up. Is this true or has this happened to anyone? And if so, in how long should these red bumps (not filled with pus) go away in, a few days, considering im still applying Benzoyl twice a day? Also, is this "initial" breakout supposed to happen after three weeks, or should it have already happened?
What drugstore products (that actually work) can you use for severe (nodular) acne?
So, I have pretty severe acne...after doing some research online I think it's called nodular acne. I get these huge, painful red bumps all over my nose and sometimes on my forehead. I also get some smaller acne on my cheeks and on the sides of my face, but that seems to clear up more easily. The big, painful acne is the problem. Right now I wash my face every morning and night, and I use one of those oil absorbing sheets after school. I also have tried a variety of different spot treatment creams and gels for the really bad spots, like my nose, and they get rid of the redness, but I still end up with these weird, embarrassing, hideous bumps that never go away. I've had some of them since 4th grade, and I'm in high school now! It's so irritating!
I really want to go to a dermatologist, by my family has no insurance, and my parents say we can't afford it. (My dad lost his job a while ago, so money is pretty tight.) So, are there any products that you can find at, like, Target or CVS or somewhere that are affordable and actually work for my kind of acne? And also, is there any way at all to get affordable help from a dermatologist if you're in a position like mine? Or is there any way to get prescription strength acne medication without going to a dermatologist?
