how do i get rid of these horrible blackheads?
have a bunch of horrible blackheads on my face back and chest. i don't really get pimples and when i do they're small. but these blackheads are really bad. i'm 12 but thank god no one really notices them. there are tons on my forehead, nose, chest, and back. i don't know what to do. i've tried so many things:
clearasil acne treatment cream with 10% benzoyl peroxide
clearasil acne pads with sacyclic acid
noxzema
aveeno clear compexion face wash
aceeno skin brightening scrub
st. ives apricot scrub
biore pore strips
neutrogena pink grapefruit scrub
even home remedies like:
yogurt for 20 mintues
massaging olive oil into my face
lemon juice
onions
patting tomatoes on my face
even mixing salt and water together and patting that on my face
and using toothpaste
None of these really worked! now i'm just using dial soap and some of my brother's perscribed benzaclin gel. its seems to work but i'm waiting to go to the dermatologist myself. my mom always forgets to make the appoinment though so i don't see it happening soon :/ i've had this since i turned 9 and almost nothing has worked! don't give me any home remedies or expensive products like Murad or proactiv or those home remedies like toothpaste please. just products you're sure that are absolutely garunteed to work but aren't expensive. i'll use something within the range of 10-15 dollars or less nothing higher cause i don't get much of an allowance anyways.

i do pop them but they always seemed to get worse while i did that so now i just leave them alone...
Acne Treatments ??? Proactiv didn't work!?
i've had acne for a while now & i tried some treatments but they didn't work

i tried proactiv& the zeno hot spot but they didn't work
proactiv just made my skin red and alot worse
the zeno didn't do anything ?

ok, first off let me tell you-i am a 27 year old mother of 2. i have oily skin that only gets dry patches in the winter months. i had been using proactiv for about a year. at first i loved it. it cleared up my face, my skin was glowing-then after about 6 months or so, it was not working as effectivly. i don't have extremely bad acne, but i get a lot of blackhead and colorless pimples in clusters. like i said i have very oily skin. i continued to use the proactiv because while it was not working as good, it was still working. i decided recently to try something else, so after weiging my options & doing a little research, i decided to try the Clean & Clear Advantage kit. i do not beleive it is working for me. i been using it for about a month now, my face has not cleared up at all, and about 2 hours after i use it my face feels oily as though i have not even washed it.
so my question is, what kind of skin do you have, and what are your opinions on what ou have tried?Thanks!

What is the best acne/pimple medication for a 12 year old?
My 12 year old daughter is very obviously going through puberty!! She has started to break out on her face, chest, & upper back. This is very embarassing for her, especially with swim-suit season coming up. Any ideas? I did not go through this stage when I was younger so I'm not sure what to do? She washes the problem areas twice a day with oatmeal soap, and has tried every over the counter medicine available at our local wal-mart. Has also used prescription benzoyle-peroxide, and most recently proactiv. Nothing helps!
We have already tried proactiv and it DID NOT WORK!! Was way too harsh for her skin. Her doctor does not want to put her on oral medication because she is so young and after a while her body will get used to it and it will not work anymore(which makes since).
Can Juvenille Diabetes cause Acne?
I've had type 1 diabetes for 14 years (I'm 22 now), and I think my acne is cause of this. I started to break out around 11 years old, and haven't stopped since. I break out every day with pustles, white heads, nodules. But I never had blackheads EVER! I've tried everything from Accutane to Proactiv and nothing has worked, causing me to think that my acne is a cause of this incurrable condition. I've also had my hormone levels tested, and they are normal. I just don't understand how diabetes can cause acne. My doctors don't believe that it could, but I've read in diabetic forums that it can, but they never offer an explanation as to why. If anyone can shed some light on this, please let me know how type 1 diabetes causes acne and how to treat the acne.

What is up with my acne!? Please help…!!?
Please, I am 15 in a week, female, 5'2, done growing, caucasian, whatever. I have tried like everything for my acne! I only have it on my face, not on my back or chest. I wash it almost every morning and night with face wash and scrub it in circular motion, but every day I get blackheads and pimples! I am starting to get acne scars and its overtaking my face!
I don't mean to sound cocky or rude, but I actually have a pretty face but I'm starting to look really ugly because of it! Its going along the corners of my mouth, and up into my hairline! I'm so sick of it! Is there something that is GUARANTEED!? Other than Proactiv! That stuff stinks! It turned my face red and it stung so bad, and I went light on it too. So, my face is very sensitive. Thank you SOO much and God bless! 10 points!!
Oh and every time I workout or sweat or get my face dirty, whatever, then I rinse it off.
acne treatments?
I used to use Proactiv a while back... well, sort of. I bought it a few times, but never used it like i was supposed to, and it ended up getting old after a while...and i haven't had the money to get it for a while..so about a few weeks ago, i bought a bottle of Clean and Clear face scrub acne treatment and the blackhead face cleansing pads.
Now i finally have enough money, so i bought a pack of Proactiv on QVC a couple days ago, so i can start using that again. But I heard you're not supposed to use 2 different brands at the same time. So, i was wondering..would it be bad if i used the clean and clear until i got my proactiv in the mail.. or should i just stop using it now and wait for the proactiv to arrive?
