acne and dry skin problem?
i'm having a problem with acne and dry skin. i am using clean and clear face wash morning and night but it doesnt seem to be working and my face is drying out real bad. i have also tried pro-activ and that didnt work for me either. is there any other acne treatments out there that will work but not dry out my face? or is there any moisturizer that i could use with an acne treatment that would help? please advise...
What are great, fast-acting acne treatments?
Okay so i would say my acne is somewhere between moderate and severe. I absolutely HATE my skin and i need something to clear it up. I have tried pro activ and used it for 2 months..it didnt help..now im using nuetrogena treatments (and i havent seen ANY improvements)...also, the toothpaste thing doesnt work on my face, its killing me!!!! i think the problem is that my face is getting too dry from the treatments and its like flaking and dried up, does anyone else have this problem and knows of a good treatment?! please help!!! (=
whoa whoa whoa, the acne is on my FACE.
Why would god make humans suffer through acne?
It's quite possibly one the worst things to live through especially if you have moderate to severe acne. You know what I'm talking about if you have it. You can't live a normal life because when your conscious of the acne on your face and you can't help to think about when your face to face with someone. It makes socializing hard and it can actually make your life pretty depressing. I have taken products to help my moderate acne but it doesn't seem to be consistent. As soon as i notice my face starts to clear up I see another pimple beginning to form. It's like a constant battle, and sometimes I feel like people that don't get acne are so lucky.
But I used to be lucky I guess because I lived 16 years of my life without a pimple on my face. Now im 18 and acne has hurt my confidence at times. On the good days when i don't have acne I feel great and motivated, but as soon as the breakouts come it's a nightmare to say the least. I don't feel like doing ANYTHING and my motivation is out the window. I don't want to talk to anyone face to face because of it so it can get pretty bad.
Does anyone know a GREAT solution that helped their moderate acne? because i can't seem to find one.
Things i've tried-
I wash my face in the morning and night every day with neutrogena facial wash oil free
i put on clean and clear spot treatment 1-2 times a day, I've tried pro-activ as well
I've even taken natural pills and supplements to help with acne
I honestly eat healthy, ESPECIALLY compared to my friends that i only see eating junk food ( they have little to no acne by the way)
This is really starting to affect me please help.

What is the best product for acne treatment?
I tried Pro-Activ and it didn't work, just dried my face out and I only broke out more.
What's something that you've used that really worked for you?
acne/pimple treatment?
lately i've been getting so many pimples. its really unussualy because i dont really get them often. but anyways; i have the neutrogena acne stress control and a clean&clear face wash- but they dont really work to great.
do you know any acne treatments that actually work? i heard that pro-activ only works in the begining and eventually it stops working? and also i heard about clean&clear ani-acne kit or something like that? if you have used or are using some product that works, please let me know and tell me the name of it.
How do you know which acne treatment is best for you?
I wanted to try alot of different things, but I came on here and asked for the opinions of others on some of those products and most of the people said the product was horrible or plain just didnt work for them.I really wanted to try the Murad acne complex but people say it did nothing for them.I know everyone's skin is different and I should try it because I have nothing to loose, but yet I have so much to .If I try another expensive product that doesnt work or only worsens my face I dont what I'll do.So tell me how do you know what works best for you,or you dont, you just take a chance and see what happens? Are there any suggestions out there about a good product other than pro-activ because it didnt work.I just need to try something new because I am fed up with this,I just got off nuetrogena it worked for awhile then stopped.SO PLEASE HELP ME,I'VE TRIED ALMOST EVERYTHING
Okay, i wanna know honestly what the best acne treatment is?
People say that Pro activ is good but when you stop using it, you break out worse. I want an acne treatment that ACTUALLY WORKS! I have heard that the Clinique 3 step works but i don't wanna try it unless it is actually gonna do something good for my skin. From experience, what worked best for you?
also i play waterpolo so my skin is always very dried out
I was on Accutane, but now my acne is coming back. How do I keep it from getting as bad as it was before?
Before I went on Accutane, I had severe acne on my face, chest, and back. My dermatologist had me try many topical creams and pills but nothing ever worked. Accutane completely cleared it up. Now it is mildly returning on my face, chest, and back. I've been using Pro-Activ but it hasn't been doing anything. I'm very scared of my acne becoming severe again. Is there ANYTHING, like an at-home treatment, that is almost guaranteed to work?
