what’s a good over the counter acne wash?
i don't really want to order pro active, because it's really expensive. i'm looking for something i can buy at walmart or something.
i don't have horrible acne, but it's definately noticeable. i get large, painful bumps on my chin (the kind that don't pop), and i have blackheads around and on my nose. and sometimes i get some pimples around my hairline on my forehead.
i've tried lots of different face washes, but none of them seem to be doing anything. i need something that will clear my skin and keep it clear.
Clinique face wash causing acne?
I went to the mall about a year ago and bought Clinique rinse- off foaming cleanser (which is what the Clinique woman suggested) to help clear my mild teenage acne and oily and dry skin, only to discover it was making my face worse! It caused large, red, painful bumps. I quickly d/c (discontinued) it, and tried many other products which none seem to help ;( I was wondering if it causes acne before it begins to work. If any of you use it and can tell me whats going on I would surely appreciate it! Or any other advice. I'm very tired of my acne improving.
Btw. I have a combo of blackheads, whiteheads, and pimples. Gross, I know.
All I wanted to know is if any other women have used this Clinique stuff and had the same problems. And if you (women) think I should try it again.
How can I get rid of my acne?
I have moderately severe acne all over my face, and I've recently become self-conscious of it and I want to get rid of it. I just want regular skin without red spots and bumps all over it. I have blackheads surrounding my nose too. I need something that will clear up my skin, and also maybe repair minor scarring. I just want a regular face without all the painful bumps. Does anyone know some good acne treatments that don't dry your skin out and clear it up for good?
Acne on chest and back — what should I be using?
I use face wash on my chest for acne there (it's mild -- tiny whiteheads and red bumps), but for my back I usually either just scrub with something like St. Ives facial scrubs or I scrub with a loofah and my regular bodywash. My bacne is worse; large, red, painful bumps. How can I eliminate both of these? I shower daily and scrub at least every other day.
