How do I get rid of temporary lower back pain?
My lower back has been hurting for about a week now. How do I get rid of the pain without having to go to the chiropractor? I've been taking OTC back pain relievers, and they seem to help a little bit. Do you have any alternatives. I'd appreciate it. Thanks.
good cleanser ingredient for acne-scar?
i wanted to make my skin more radiant, cleaner, w/o former acne scarring, and i do have oily skin mostly on the t-zone, also, whitehead r worst at my nose, and blackhead on the area beside the nose, both side.
as thers soo many products available OTC, i'm guessing ive to look at the ingrediants tahn the brand of the facial.
am i correct??

Personal experience with acne treatment that works.. i have had moderate acne that wont go away for 2 years.. even the doctor subscribe medicine doesnt work any OTC medicine or any product that helps?

I"ve had problems with acne---I can't afford a dermatologist---OTC meds don't work--i've tried sulfa, salycitic acid, and benzoil peroxide, face masks as well as this homeopathic pill/cream for acne...nothing helped
i recently started using acidopholus for otehr reasons--and teh acne started cleaing--i am getting less and it is clearing better...
are probviotics known to be helpful for acne/

i even tried that zeno device--they would shrink--but come right back...
What are the best treatment to clear acne scars?
I have been battling acne on and off since I was 17 and used a few products (retin-A and otc) and I use proactiv now and it works great. I also combine monthly chemical peels to keep my face clear.
Okay, my acne is gone but my face has some scarring. Its not too bad (just a little red or brown here and there) but sometimes I wish I could go out without make up a little confident. Ihear microdermabrasions were good but the lady who does my chemical peels said it just clears away the top layer of skin and not removing scarring. But isnt that what a scar is? Any advice? Please and Thank you
Have had acne for 8 years, what to do?
I will be 21 soon and I have had acne since I was 13. I have tried every OTC cream and wash and even those "systems" like proactiv and acne free. NOTHING WORKS!!! I always shoot for 8 glasses of water a day, sometime i get them all but i usually get around 5. I started working out about 2 months ago and have been eating healthier sine then but I have seen no improvement with the change in my diet. I have literally tried every thing known to man to treat acne (i tried honey and toothpaste, neither worked) except going to a dermatologist. I haven't gone b/c everyone I know says that Rx acne treatments dry your face out and just make it worse. Aside from seeing a dermatologist, what other things can I do to help tone down my acne???

chest/back acne?
i know that it's normal for teens to have acne, but lately i've been self concious of the acne that i get on my chest and back. i exercise every day and the sweat gets into the pores. i would really like to get rid of the chest acne at the least because whenever i wear a bathing suit, you can see it!
any home remedies (besides aspirin mask) or OTC things i can get at CVS that work for chest/back acne? with quickest results possible?!

red/blue Light treatment for acne?
yesterday I've had a basic facial done and the aesthetician recommended I should have a series of 6 photo actif treatments (red/blue light) to help heal up my acne. This procedure would cost me 0. Is it worth the cost? I've tried all kinds of OTC acne products and have purchased some milder skin care products at the spa as well (also upon recommendation), but am wondering if the photo actif treatment will really make a difference. My skin shows healing of acne spots and does look better today.
Neither witch hazel nor tea tree oil products did anything to improve my skin.
I've been looking into the NatureBright Clarity Skin light appliance, but can't find any feedback on it (positive or negative)

I have only a few bumps but the scars are terrible. I've had little or no acne all my life and when I turned 24, I had one acne on my cheek, and ever since it's been there for the last 3 years !! I know stress has something to do with it..
but ive done almost everything-- facial wash-toner-lotion w/ salycic acid, treating with hydro peroxide, avoiding contact with my face during the day etc.... but it's still there !!
Diet & Exercise seems to help but it has never disappeared !
has anyone done anything else besides OTC treatments ??
