acne, blackheads and oils?
so i was looking up on how to get rid of blackheads and i came across something that said:
I've had incredible results massaging with natural oils. It quickly and permanently got rid of my blackheads, my pimples and scars . I now have a totally blemish free, healthy and glowing skin. The secret is to massage over and over quite vigorously and they will reduce day by day. Do with a forward and back motion using tips and front of fingers and sometimes palms depending where on face you massage. Circular massage is not effective. Try to do 20 to 30 minutes a day(can be in two or more sessions) for best and quickest results.
Olive oil or any natural oil works fine.
You will see clearing of skin and reduction of pores in as little as 2 to 3 days.

.....well How will the olive oil not cause breakouts when it's 'oil' ? I'm kind of confused..
Will this skin care regimen get rid of my acne?
I'm 19, and I'm sick and tired of having acne. I've always had great hygiene and washed my face with salicylic acid cleansers, but I would always still get breakouts. For the past 2 weeks I've done the following:
-Neutrogena anti-acne salicylic acid cream cleanser twice daily
-Aveeno moisturizer after washing face
-in the evening, Neutrogena anti-acne face mask, combined with dissolved aspirin, left on face for 2 hrs daily
-then olive oil mask, left on for ~30 minutes
-shower
-Neutrogena Acne Stress Control spot treatment, left on overnight
It seems to be working. I haven't had any new breakouts, and the old ones are slowly healing. Now I just have lots of red scars and hyperpigmentation :(
My skin is not sensitive, nor is it dry.
I need help with Acne, blackhead, enlarged pores, scaring, really oily skin, and want to whiten skin?
So first of all my skin is oily from genetics and slightly sensitive. I have very mild acne but a lot scaring due to past acne. I have a lot of black heads and a lot of enlarged pores. My skin care routine is cleanser toner moisturizer for night and day and a egg white mask when i get home from school 7 days a week and exfoliation with sugar and olive oil before getting in the shower 7 days a week. I really want to get rid of my acne, black head, and enlarged pores and also want to even out my skin because my cheeks are lighter than the rest of my face. I was thinking of using cucumbers or potatoes or tomatoes to whiten my skin but want to fix my skin care routine first. what should i do please help.my questions are how should i fix my routine? how can i improve my acne, blackheads, enlarged pores,and scars? And how can i whiten my skin naturally and which is better cucumbers,potatoes, or tomatoes for whitening (i know i cant use lemon because it stings to much)?
How do i prevent acne/blackheads?
I've had acne since 3rd grade! i'm in 11th grade now ... The way i get acne is i get these tiny white/blackheads and they eventually turn into big red pimples and they last for 3-7 days! this is how my acne has been working ever since and idk what to do! I've tried lemon, baking soda, honey, olive oil, salt, alcohol, tea bag , toothpaste, and many home remedies but none seem to work! ive been exercising, eating healthy and drinking alot of water, washing my face in the morning and before bed the past 2 months and i see no change! the only change is the oil on my face is gone.
Consuming olive oil to treat acne problems?

How do you define "acne-prone skin" i have blackheads on my face and does olive oil really cure those stuffs?? Since most of the ppl say that acne-prone ppl are not advised to apply olive oil on their face, then can we CONSUME it INSTEAD OF APPLYING IT?

MY FACE IS PEELING:(?
okay, so i used a face wash that is way too strong i guess. my face is peeling and when i put makeup on it looks even worse. does anyone know any fast tricks to get rid of the peeling skin? i need it gone by tomorrow and i dont have time to run to the store, so please only recommend treatments that i could do at home. i heard that olive oil rubbed on my face would stop the peeling, but that sounds like it would make me break out. (i am VERY acne prone) please please please help :) thank you
Bacne Need Some advice Please!?
I'm a 19 year-old female with severe bacne. My face is fine. It clears up easily when I wash it with acne treatment or just natural remedies, but for the life of me nothing seems to help with the acne on my back! Since I was fifteen I've had it, and I've got scars deciding to make their permenant home my back. I've tried olive oil, special soap, soaking, but nothing seems to help. I think I might have to take more drastic action by buying a treatment of some kind. Any suggestions?

Different homemade acne masks?
well i have acne.. its not terrible.. but its there and its noticeable when im not wearing makeup and i want most of it to be gone in a week or two. but i have heard of a lot of different masks and stuff that you can use
-aspirin and honey mask
-egg mask (using the white first and then the yolk)
-sugar scrub with honey, olive oil, and sugar
-plain honey
-honey and cinnamon mask thing
so i was wondering.. have you tried any of these? which ones work the best and take the least amount of time to start showing results? do you know of any other homemade acne masks/treatments that work well? and don't tell me to go out and buy stuff.. ive tried proactive.. and it works great.. but i don't have the money to spend on it. thanks for the help!!
Need help with Acne medication suggestion?
Im a 17year old athletic Teen Boy trying to get rid of his acne. I dnt have severe acne it just mostly on my forehead an really annoying. Ive tried clean&clear and Acne free and seen no results. I frequently exercise30-45mins a day and drink 8 glass of water as reccommended but it seems like i either get more acne or none of the acne fades away. I've also used olive oil, alcohol and toothpaste as suggest but seen no results. Does anyone plz know a male acne medication i can use to get rid of my acne. Ive heard that neutegena is kind of better than most acne medication but i doubt it works. Sorry for the long description.
