Should I moisturize my skin?
Hello, everyone.
I'm a guy, and I've been battling acne for a long time now. I worked my way through all the treatments, and eventually went to the dermatologist and she wrote me a prescription for Epiduo. I use that, along with a Neutrogena face wash and exfoliator - I also use the Proactiv overnight mask on big zits.
Now, I would classify myself as having oily skin, I think. Around my nose, especially the cheeks under my eyes, I have large pores and VERY oily skin. However, my cheeks and jaw area are the opposite. They get extremely dry from the medications I use, to the point where dry and flaky skin is noticeable from a distance. I've tried exfoliating, not using lotion there, even not washing it, but it stays really dry. I've always shied away from moisturizers because I do NOT want my "t-zone" to get any more oily. I was wondering, however, if I could just use moisturizer on the dry areas and leave my nose the way it is? Now that I can control my acne (to an extent) I'm trying to focus on having healthy looking skin.
PS: Are there any little home treatments I might be able to use to reduce the size of my pores? I don't think it's a huge deal, however. My parents say I have large pores and an oily nose area because I'm part Italian.

What is the absolute best acne medicated face wash?
School pictures are coming up soon. Normally my skin isn't too bad, but I have a feeling I'll be PMSing during the week of pictures. If not, my skin will be recovering from the effects of the hormones.
What's the best treatment for acne? Face washes, creams, anything that will work quickly and effectively.

Also, I usually only get acne on my chin and nose area. I may occasionally have something on my cheeks or forehead, but that's not common.

I have blackheads on my nose area, some whiteheads deep in my skin on my cheeks and chin, and a few big inflamed pimples. I also have dry, sensitive skin. What are some good facial products for me?

Can you help me remove my blackheads?
Lately, I have been breaking out in blackheads. I don't really get regular acne zits often, just blackheads in my nose area. I used to use clean and clear cleansers, but recently switched to neutragena in an attempt to clear my nose. It hasn't really worked. I'm fourteen, and I don't want to use pore strips.
So my real question is, what face wash helps remove and prevent blackheads?

I do not have severe acne, in fact I wouldn't say I have "acne", but I do get pimples around my nose area and between my eyebrows. The prescribed washes I have tried have dried out my skin and irritated it. I am currently using acne free wash and the clinique toner. Does anyone have an suggestions, anything they have tried? (including prescribed gels, pleaase let me know!) (I am 14 years old and I really want to clear my skin up, its nit too bad and i know it is curable!)
What is the BEST acne treatment?
I've been reading lots of things about proactiv, skin id, clear pores and other things but I really need to know the best thing.
I've had acne since the 6th grade, I'm a junior now. I honestly don't want to go the last two years in high school with acne. I'm scared my face is going to be like this my whole life. At one point I bought Acne Free and it worked like a miracle. Then I was stupid and quit using it. My face broke right back out again. I bought some more of the Acne Free but it did nothing. It was like my skin came immune to it. So, I started using Noxima pads in the morning and night, and they worked. It cleared my face right up. As soon as I stopped using them, BAM broke out again. Now I'm pretty sure they won't work.
So what I'm basically saying people is what can I do to get rid of this acne? It's not severe acne but it's noticeable. I mainly have it on my forehead but occasionally I get them on my chin and nose area. All I want is to have clear skin. Is that to much to ask?
Someone please help me. This is seriously starting to get to me. =(

blackheads & acne on the nose !?

so i got a real problem with acne im not being scandalous over 1 pimple but on my nose area i got ALOT of blackheads on my forehead i got the smallest pimple that i can pop but i don't do that because it leaves scars and it gets really frustrating when i take pictures & you can see 3,5 red spots on my forehead i tried putting 91% rubbing alcohol i tried tooth paste i tried a hot steamy cloth over my face
im 14 years old im a boy i spend around 30 minutes i the sun that's only for p.e any body got any home remedies that have worked for you past experiences are the best answers for me who ever gives me the most specific home remedies that is not to confusing will win best awnser THANK YOU ! :) p.s i drink more water than soda i dot eat pizza i eat alot of hot cheetos (aha) and Very little chocolate also if you can list things i should do while trying to remove my acne THANK you again !
