how do I get rid of a pimple under the skin?
Okay, so I hardly ever get acne, I never break out, and I never have had any problems with my skin OTHER than this- Very, very, very occasionally, I get those pimples under the skin that hurt really bad that don't show up, you can just feel where they are, and they're really tempting to try and pop but if you do it leaves a scar. I don't have the money to pay for a prescription and I need to get rid of this thing on my chin. It really hurts. Also, I know it's not nodular cystic acne, because that is the most severe. Are there any home remedies that I can do that will allow me to at least open up a pore? PLEASE HELP!
Please please someone, anyone here used this for acne?!?!?!?!!?!?
Urgent question, please read!
I'm 18 now, have had terrible acne since the age of 14. Blackheads, whiteheads, pimples, massive pus-filled spots, nodular/cystic acne (where massive lumps thrust out from below the skin) ... you name it, i've had it
tho over the last year, i've begun to notice a slight improvement, though its only a matter of a week or so before i flare up and look unsightly :( :( :( :(
i went to my GP yesterday, he said 'whoa' then gave me a prescription of ZINERYT, this topical antibiotic liquid/cream ...anybody had this before, has it worked, how long?!?!?!?!?!
Accutane for moderate but persistent acne?
I'm 15 years old. I've had moderate acne since I was about 13. I'm wondering if Accutane is the right choice, since nothing else seems to have worked.
Here's a list of what I've tried:
1. skinID
2. proactiv
3. clearasil/neutrogena/clean and clear/any other Over the Counter wash/gel/cream
4. Differin for 3 months
5. Minocycline 50 mg a day for 4 months
6. Minocycline 50 mg twice a day
I know Accutane is only for severe nodular/cystic acne, but it just seems like it won't go away.
Is there any way that my dermatologist will prescribe me Accutane.
Or do they automatically refuse to give it to people like me..
Can i demand Accutane?
Any answer is appreciated .
Thanks:)
I was on Differin and Minocycline 50 mg once a day at the same time for about 4 months. And it didn't help. If anything it made my face more red.
Question about my acne?
So it's not nearly as bad as it used to be, when I got on birth control my skin was flawless. Recently, I've stopped taking the pill and while my skin still isn't terrible, I do still have a couple problem spots. I don't know what kind of acne it is, but the closest thing I could find was nodular/cystic acne? I have small bumps under the skin on my cheeks, and it's always right under my cheekbone and only that place. You can't really see them, they're not red or anything, but they're just stubborn and don't respond to treatment.
any ideas how to get rid of this type of acne? Is it cystic/nodular even though they're small bumps and don't hurt to touch?
thanks so much :)
