How long does it take for fish oil pills to take effect?
I just started taking fish oil pills less than a week ago. Since fish oil pills are good for a lot of different conditions, I would like to know how long it'll take before I start seeing any noticeable effects (e.g., improvements of skin and hair).
Btw, I take a dosage of 3 pills a day.
How long does it take Drysol to fully work?
My doctor gave my Drysol today for my underarms, and I was wondering, if I put it on tonight, will I see any improvements by tomorrow? And if not, how long does it usually take for it to kick in?
Also, should I just put on regular Secret deodorant tomorrow morning? Or is Drysol good for odor too?
Been on Differin for 3 months and not seeing much of improvement :(?
Ok so i went on differin exactly 3 months ago and i was told by my doctor who prescrobed it that if i have seen no improvements in 12 weeks to go back to him and see what else we can use... i have done alot of research on differin and have heard a lot of great positive feedback from it and also that it doesnt work for everyone and as usual like every other acne treatment it diesnt work for me... can anyone PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE suggest something that has REALLY worked for them with noticable changes in less than a month? i dont have severe acne just on the side of my chin and its really ugly and makes me feel depressed i hate going outside.. also i am going back to my doctor in a few day so would anyone suggest something i could sugest to my doctor? thanks heaps would really appreciate a good answer, thank you
A solution to my dilemma? (ACNE)?
I have been having acne issues since the start of high school. It had never really bothered me as much until now. I desperately want my face to be cleared up for the upcoming Junior year.
I have tried plenty of products that claims to remove blackheads as well as stopping break outs and so forth. Those products surely have became a bust, my skin freaking was dry like the Sahara desert.I have used home remedies (i.e: the honey procedure) it made my skin very soft. But I did not see any improvements at all..
I wash my face three times a day. I wash my pillow cases at least once a week. I avoid touching my face. I drink plenty of water.
I have no clue what is causing my acne. I am a perfectly clean person! Could it be my eating habits? I am unable to eat fruits due to my allergies, and I try my best to avoid vegetables; I often vomit eating broccoli and such because my body can't seem to hold down the veggies. So junk food is practically the only thing in my body system, surprisingly I am not fat.
Or could my acne just be due to puberty and could possibly be gone eventually?
HELP PLEASE, WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME!? Is there any method I could remove my acne and blackheads now? Going to a dermatologist is not a option.
What is the best spot treatment?
Ok, so im 14 and have minor acne. By minor i mean like small yellow spots. I hate yellow spots so usually squeeze them asap making them look red and angry. I am using clearasil- stay clear deep toner and daily fash wash at least twice a day. I have been doing for about a week and have no improvements. I really hate having spots and I long for just normal spotless skin. I have only ever had spots on my face. Does anyone know of any cheap spot treatments available in UK stores?

What are great, fast-acting acne treatments?
Okay so i would say my acne is somewhere between moderate and severe. I absolutely HATE my skin and i need something to clear it up. I have tried pro activ and used it for 2 months..it didnt help..now im using nuetrogena treatments (and i havent seen ANY improvements)...also, the toothpaste thing doesnt work on my face, its killing me!!!! i think the problem is that my face is getting too dry from the treatments and its like flaking and dried up, does anyone else have this problem and knows of a good treatment?! please help!!! help with acne please!?
My acne is not, what I considder, severe. But it is pretty bad. I have tiny little red bumps all over and a few big nasty ones, on my face. I have a little bit on my upper and lower back. I have tried all kinds of things to help my face get clear and nothing is working. Pro Active didnt work. And I stuck to it and did it twice a day for several months. I tried acne free. My doctor has me use this topical ointment called Retin-A Micro, it made my face red and sore and hurt sooo bad. I used that for almost a year and my acne didn't improve. I also tried the generic form of that. I have been prescribed a high dose of Benzoyl Peroxide..it did not work either (and yes, I know you cant use Benzoyl and Retin A at the same time cause they counteract eachother!!) also my Dr. had me on an anti biotic to help with the "big" pimples..and all that medicine did was make me sick, I was on it forever and had no improvements. This is so annoying. I am now 19 years old and I clean my face every day. What can I use to help my face and is there any medications that help with acne. I would like to stay away from them if they have bad side effects though. Is there anything over the counter that is really good? Thanks
