How can I get rid of acne?

I have really bad acne. I know how teens are supposed to get acne but mine is really bad. My friends get minimal blackheads and single zits sometimes but they just have to put ice on them to make it go away. I get whiteheads all over my face, back, chest, and upper legs. When I first started to get acne I used a generic cleanser and moisturizer to maintain a healthy complexion. Then the acne started to come more, and more and I added an on-the-spot medication to target the zits. That didn't seem to work because they just kept coming.
So far, I have used Stridex pads, products from Mary Kay: deep cleanser, moisturizer, blemish control toner, and acne treatment medication lotion, Proactiv: renewing cleanser, revitalizing toner, repairing lotion, daily oil control, oil free moisturizer, and the revitalizing mask, and some Biore products: blemish control toner, foaming cleanser, and exfoliating soap. None of them seemed to work.
I am currently using the Biore products. They felt like they were fighting the breakouts and made my face softer but zits still come regularly all over my face. I skipped one day and had my worst breakout ever.
I recently saw an ad for an improved Proactiv. I only gave the regular proactiv a couple months and it didn't work for me. Should I try out?

I really need help. I get teased because of my problem all the time. I am trying to eat healthy and I really need to drink water more. If there is any product that you recommend for a girl who has a serious whitehead problem, please tell me! I dont get any other kinds of breakouts, just whiteheads all over my body. Also give me any advice to have healthy skin. Thank you! :(

what foundation should i use? other skin questions?

im 15, and i wanna know what type of foundation i should use. my skin is a tiny bit oily on my nose and chin, and normal on my cheeks. i have some acne on my t-zone but it's nothing too terrible and it's starting to clear up. my skin is really fair (usually ivory or porcelain), i have dark brown hair and hazel eyes. what should i use for my skin type and color? i was thinking about maybelline dream smooth mousse, but idk if it would make me break out. i'm using neutrogena healthy skin glow sheers liquid foundation in ivory to fair and it's too dark/golden-y!! plus, it makes my skin feel gross and oily.
whenever i wear a lot of foundation/skin makeup, it looks cakey and dry fast..but it usually feels oily!
i also use mac concealor and it's oily and gross so i guess i need a new concealor too...well, thanks for answering!! :)

also, any tips for getting clear skin/good acne treatments would be great. i'm using neutrogena skin id and it's not that great...and i have used so many products for acne already and they don't work. my acne isn't that bad but it just won't go away. next i'm going to try pronexin and then maxclarity.

Looking to end a life-long funk…?

Ok, so here's the deal. I am a 24 year old male, virgin, rapid cycling bipolar and far from attractive. It's been bad all of my life that has counted thus far, but this year is at an all time low, and I'm looking for a way to put an end to this rut. I have a lot going for me in the ways of intellect and talents, with an IQ of 160 and several artistic abilities, a lover of philosophy and the like, so I know that being happy is going to have to start with changing my attititude, and that is going to have to start with fixing the major physical problem areas. Lately, I've felt more and more physically compromised, and I'm starting to feel sick all the time.

So, I would like to have these first few questions addressed first and foremost:

- How can I keep myself in a determined mindset and prevent myself from making promises to myself that will inevitably falter? How do I keep my morale up?

- Can anyone give me some tips for a healthy diet that's easy to maintain and won't leave me feeling deprived and starved?

- Does anyone know any good treatments for acne? These Proactiv kits and other things like them seem to work, but it just seems that the answer should be simpler. Are there any other effective, cheaper and more practical alternatives? What abotu body acne?

- What are some daily routines that I should make habits in order to achieve a healthy weight and healthy skin?

Thanks to anyone who can help me. And please, serious answers only. No flamers, trolls, jokes or insults. I understand where my problem areas are, I only seek a way to get better.

what is a good, effective medication (oral antibiotic; pill) for acne with minimal side effects?

a little long, but PLEASE HELP!

i've had moderate acne for years now; i've tried a bunch of OTC face washes and creams without great results. i recently started using a higher end brand of face washes (DDF; salicilyc acid wash in the morning and benzoyl peroxide scrub at night with benzoyl peroxide gel for spot treatment) and my skin definitely improved, but still wasn't perfect. i went to the dermatologist and was prescribed finacea gel which i apply to my entire face twice a day- after washing my face in the morning and after washing my face at night (my derm said that i could still do my exact same routine w/ the face washes and even still use the benzoyl peroxide gel on top of the finacea for extra treatment). this gel has helped A LOT with fading red marks (big problem i had) and treating pimples much faster (ie shrinking and healing and redness fading in less time); however, i'm still GETTING new pimples, so as nicely as the medication is TREATING my pimples and fading the red marks that show up, it's just a cycle at this point- the point is, i want to NOT be getting pimples. i feel like my best bet is to use these topical products in conjunction with an oral medication.

as a sidenote, about 8 years ago when my acne was much worse i started taking the oral antibiotic minocycline, and had an extremely rare adverse reaction to it (pseudotumor cerebri). i'm currently on various psychotropic medications (as i was at the time of taking minocycline) so i need to be a little cautious about potential reactions between medications.

i really do feel that i'm only going to be able to achieve the good, healthy skin that i want if i'm treating it INTERNALLY as well as externally. i take lots of vitamins, fish oil, flaxseed oil, a multivitamin specifically for healthy hair and skin...so i'm really doing all that i can in terms of taking the natural route, AND am very rigid about my skincare routine. despite all of this, i continue to have consistent breakouts...i'm 21 years old, it's extremely embarrassing to still have acne and i just want to be able to feel confident and have great looking skin.

any tips or suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated! AND a big thanks if you took the time to read this!

I use doctors prescription medicine for acne/blackheads, and yet my face is not clear and smooth? help?

hi im 15. i have pimples/blackheads. i use doctors prescribed medication called tazorac at night, Duac Topical Gel in the morning and i use cetaphil (a skin cleanser prefered by my dermatoligist) to clean my face. Ive been using these products since may and now its december. I do have to admit its cleared up my face alot, but there are still countless numbers of blackheads and my face just doesnt look like clear healthy skin when i look in the car mirror. i also rarely ever eat chocolate/peanuts too (they enhance pimple production)

-What should i do?
-Any at home remmedies i can do to make my face clearer?
