60% Glycolic Acid Peel ?
Is it safe to do a 60% glycolic acid peel once a week?
I've had severe acne for a while and recently (a few months ago), I started doing these peels at home. I've had them done before dozens of times at the derm (40-50%), but I got sick of going so I bought the solution from licensed companies online and carry out the procedure myself. I follow all the steps and precautions...and I see little improvement over time, so I am thinking about stepping it up.
After the peel my skin is dry and looks good, but then a few days later, it slowly returns back to each oily state. I'm thinking if I do them once a week, I'll control my oily skin and will be free of breakouts??

what gets rid of light brown acne scars??? its not that severe but its just like a brown spot thats redish brown.
what would work the best: cocoa butter, vitamin e oil, tea tree oil, or glycolic acid???

SEVERE blackheads and blocked pores!?
Ok, I'm 15 and ever since the 5th grade (I was 9 at the time) I have not had one acne-free day. I have always had most bumps on my forehead and always got made fun of because I was the only kid in elementary school to have acne. By 6th grade I had huge blackheads. Then, two years ago, I started taking a homeopathic acne pills. Most of my big bumps are gone, I have some very tiny bumps on my forehead, and the occassional zit, but I've learned to be happy wiht that. My problem is blackheads and blocked pores. I used to have nice, tight pores before acne, I remember, my mom told me it's the oil and dirt in there that stretched out my pores. Now, on my forehead, nose, cheeks, chin, and above my upper lip (pretty much everywhere) I have huge blackheads and blocked pores. The pills did not help with that. My blocked pores are huge, people can actually stand a a few feet away from me and see how big they are, the biggest ones on my cheek. Ok, I'll continue my question below!
I have tried literally everything. Neutrogena, Clearasil, Clean and Clear, Proactiv, Murad, Biore scrubs and pore strips, I’ve tried St. Ives, I use oil blotting sheets, I’ve tried Using oil-free moisturizers and cleansers, I’ve tried salicylic acid, benzoyl peroxide, I’ve even tried Neosporin. I’ve tried only using a mild soap, mild soap and moisturizers, medicines, scrubs, and professional Glycolic Acid peels. If it’s in the skincare aisle, I’ve tried it. I wash my face twice a day, every day and have good hygiene. I never even wear foundation or powder so I won’t clog them any more! My skin seems to not respond to anything. I’m sick of my horrible skin and I want to know what else I can do! HOW can I get rid of these horrible blocked pores and blackheads? I’m tired of people making comments about my horrible skin! Please help, I’m so frustrated!
glycolic acid?? acne treatment?
Ive heard alot of good things about it....has anyone tried it? what is it effective on?? does it help scar removal? also ive noticed there is a 35% glycolic acid, and a 50% and so and so on....what is the diffrence?
