Any acne product you recommend (for dry/combo acne prone skin and acne scars)?

I recently started getting acne. (And by recently, I mean last year in 6th grade. The same year I just started getting my menstrual cycle. a.k.a period.)

Any-whoo. I'm in the 7th grade and I'm 12 years old. I have combo/dry skin, and I've tried almost every product in the world. Which isn't very wise considering the fact that the economy's bad. :P

HISTORY:
When I started getting my monthly, I also got a zit once a month. I used some products, but it didn't work. It started getting worse in the beginning on 2010. I started getting 2-3 zits a month, and then, right when I went to go to China, (around July) I had 6-7 zits all over my face. I just broke out. Blackheads, whiteheads, crystalline acne, anything and everything. You name it, I had it.

I couldn't stick to a daily regimen because when I was in China, I was in a village, and plus, you don't see many 12 year olds with travel size acne kits, now do you?

Anyway, when I came back to America, some of my acne had diminished. I was stuck with a lot of scars. But my skin was still pretty bad because my pimples just kept coming back. When one zit had disheveled, another comes. When that goes away, another comes. It was a never ending cycle. But then I started using Neutrogena Acne Stress Control Cleanser and it went back to 1-2 pimples a month. I'm still stuck with scars.

+-+-+-+-+

Now that that's done, can anyone recommend me some products? I know that everyone's skin is different, but I'm still willing to try anything and everything to reduce my acne and my acne scars. I know I inherit my acne from my mom (she had had it when she was little and my brother has acne too...but much less milder than mine) and maybe because of my period? I don't know.

PRODUCTS I'VE USED:
[Dx]Neutrogena | Oil-Free Acne Wash
[Dx]Neutrogena | Alcohol-Free Toner
[Dx]Neutrogena |Oil-Free Moisture Combination Skin
[Dx]Neutrogena | Rapid Clear 2-in-1 Fight & Fade Gel
[Dx]Aveeno | Daily Moisturizer

[:)]Neutrogena | Acne Stress Control
[:)]Sana (Japan) | Namerakahonpo Haritsuya Cream

Please list some products! (It can be through YOUR personal experience)

Is the Proactiv Solution Skincare line really worth it?

I'm a teenager and dealing with bad skin.. bahahah.
& of course. I haate it.
I've tried numerous clean & clear, neutrogena, aveeno, and even more types of products specially designed for acne, and oily skin.
but none of it really works out well for me..

And of course, I always watch those commericails with Jessica Simpson in it sponsering Proactiv, but seriously, does it work?

I have:
- Many blemishes, pimples, blackheads on my forehead
- Few blemishes above my upper lip
- Few blemishes/ pimpes on my chine
- Few blemishes around my cheeks
- & I have oily/ shiny skin

Here are a few questions:

- Have you tried Proactiv and would you reccomend it?
- What exactly should I be looking towards: Renewing Cleanser, Revitalizing Toner, Reparing lotion, Proactiv® Solution 3-Step System plus Refining Mask and Oil-Free Moisture with SPF 15,
Mild Exfoliating Peel, Daily Oil Control, Deep Cleansing Wash and Advanced Blemish Treatment.. there's a lot of products!
- How much is it?
- Is it effective? Quickly?
- If you do not reccomend proactiv, then what works for you and what you would reccomend for me?
- And please feel free to add anything else about proactiv or any other effective skin products, and link, and videos would be greatly appreciated.

I need help finding a new skin care routine?

Ok, I have been using this routine for a while now and I think it's time to change it. Because some of the products aren't working as well as they used to.Right now i'm using:
Cetaphil moisturizer for dry sensitive skin - This stuff saved my skin during the winter. But it tends to make my skin feel oily and sometimes i'll break out.Occasionaly I'll use Neutrogena oil-free moisture - I love the fact that it has sunscreen so I can wear it for when I go outside but the only drawback is it doesn't really moisturize my skin it gets flaky.I have mild acne just mostly blackheads so I use Clean&clear Advantage acne spot treatment -Sometimes it works well sometimes it doesn't i've also tried benzoal peroxide and I didn't like that.So thats what I use.. If you feel I should remove anything or add something please let me know what product and where you can get it I prefer getting it from cvs.I heard your supposed to be using a brightening serum and I want to use an antiaging cream like olay
Oh and I also use biore nose and forhead blackhead strips I like those... Thanks for all your help!

Acne Solutions for moderate-severe doctor diagnosed acne?(Clinique?)(3 Step and 3 Step Acne?)(Macy’s?)?

I have moderate to severe acne that is propnounced on my face, back, chest, and other uinsetteling parts of my body, along with cystic acne and recently saw a doctor for this condition. She perscribed monocycoline- a mediction to help stop the acne, however it is having a hard time working because I'm supposted to eat it on an ampty stomach but it's never empty. (i'm vegan with an extrordanairly high metabolism so I eat all the time to stay happy :)

Before this incident, I had tried multiple solutions to my acne.
Benzoil peroxide was my best one yet, however it caused severe drying and more oil production, so i started using Nutrogena's iol free moisture for sensitive skin, and it didn't relly moisturise enough.

I have tried Oil Free Salacylic Ance was by Neutrogena, Clean and clear microscurb beads, clean and clear blackhead control, clean and clear foaming cleanser, clean and clear Salacylic acid, Acne free, proactiv, Burts bees facialm cleansers, exfoliators, washes and complexion soaps, and i'm curently using the clinique 3 step acne solutions system

Before my severe acne, i had fiar-oily skin,
and now it is extremely dry, unless i put moisturiser on it.

Whenever i put on makeup over an acne proudct or without, my skin seems to 'dry up' and 'crack' i dont have lines or wrinkles on my face, but the makeup alwys finds a way to collect in the spaces between skin platlets, expecially arround my mouth.

Picking my acne makes i tworse i know, and i rarely ever do it, however im not sure what else i can do to berid myself of it. I know i wont completely get rid of it, but id rather have the 5-10 pimples, astead of the bunches of 12-18 cystic ones!

So i cant use anyhting with oil (i found out it made me break -out), nothing too drying i guess, hopefully someting that can help this makeup rpoblem with my face, and something that will clear up the acne.

(I am using clinique acne steps right now, but whats the diffrence between taht and the normal 3 step. Is the normal 3 step even benificial for your skin? i've heard otherwise... Also,if i have a macy's giftcard, can i use it in the clinique stand or urban decay stand in macys? Thanks toe veryone for all of the help!)
I also wanted to put it out there that i drink between 12-24 8 oz bottles of water a day (in a contene, i try to be ecofriendly) and use bare esscentuals, wich should help unclog my pores/ not clog them.
