Best way to get rid of acne scars and flaky skin?
I was never really the type of person to have ance. I come from a big family with clear skin. But for some reason I started breaking out very terribly( it might have been from the change of makeup I did back in september ) Well , My ance has gone away , but now I face a new challenge. Ance Scars. I restrict myself from using any foundation cover up makeup because my boyfriend hates when I wear it. Plus - I got it all over his white sweatshirt when I hugged him lol. My skin is in horrible condition tho. After all the harsh acne treatment , I have horrible dry skin. It's all flaky and dry and I put on an Olay Oil Free Face moisterizer but honestly , If i did not have that , I would be doomed. Basically to sum this up , What are some good home remedies to get rid of acne scars and deminish them ? and how can I get my skin to be nice and flaky free ? Please help because I feel so left out without clear skin cause my family alway points it out :( HELP !
Very sensitive skin with eczema and acne what should I do?
I have very sensitive skin. If I use a cleanser my whole face will literally turn red and dry eventhough the cleanser is for sensitive skin. I also have a lot of acne, blackheads, whiteheads, and breakout all over my face too. If I use an oil free face lotion my pores will still clog especially before my period my face will get very oilly with a whole bunch of acne. And I have eczema around my lips, chin, and ear. My skin will get so dry that it hurts so much to even open my mouth. I really don't know what to do now. I want to give up. It's been four years and I had tried so many products and none of them works. It's so frustrating. Please help me. What should I do? Thanks! =)
How do I get my life-long acne problem to go away?
The first time I got a pimple was maybe in 2nd or 3rd grade. And ever since I can't remember a single day when I had a pimple free face. Since then, I have tried what I feel like is everything there is to try. I saw a dermatologist. She had me on all kinds of topicals that didn't work, I was on Acutane and that totally screwed my back up and didn't work with my acne. I've been on like 4 different kinds of birth control pills. Most recently Yasmin. I've tried proactive which didn't work. Oh I forgot to mention I am also allergic to benzoyl peroxide. I've had chemical peel treatments, microdermabrasion treatments, all very very expensive. I am now 24 and still don't know what my face looks like with clear skin. I've had depression because of it. I am married and am very luck to have found someone who could care less about my acne. But I know if I had better skin I'd be so much happier with myself which would reflect through everything else in my life. What else should I do?
Thank you to those who are answering and actually being helpful. This is a really sensitive subject FYI.
I am allergic to Benzoyl Peroxide which is in most OTC treatments. So I'll take a look at some of the suggested products but I can't sue it if it has BP in it. My face breaks out in itchy red rashes if I use it. I do exfoliate every night. I also have very fair skin so every little thing is so noticeable. Right now I am able to keep it from getting out of control, but it never completely goes away. I'm using the Clean and Clear acne treatment right now. But like I said, nothing I have found has made it go away.
Thanks everyone for your sincere feedback. :)
Help with adult acne?
I've had acne since teens, am 23 now. It's ranged from light to severe, but I've never been acne free. Recently went to my family doctor when I was sick, as a side note he prescribed Tetracycline to help with the acne. After reading the effects, I'm not interested in taking it long term. However, I only have an issue with facial acne, not anywhere else. Over the last year I've cut back on makeup more and more, now only use concealer and Physician's Formula talc-free face powder. Could the makeup be the issue? I never go to bed with it on, wash my face every night, twice a day apply benzoyl peroxide cream, I drink lots of water and eat lots of fruits/veggies/fiber. I DON'T GET IT! It feels like I'm doing everything I can with no results. I don't want to stop wearing makeup yet--I'll feel like a troll--but do you think it would help that much? Does anyone have any tips/tricks/ideas?
Note: I use witch hazel everyday as a toner. I've tried going all natural, using a face wash of EVOO and castor oil. I would love an all natural approach, but alas have gotten no results when I've used it.

Any good suggestions for a good acne treatment for a person with SUPER sensitive skin?
i'm allergic to benzoyl peroxide (it makes my face super irritated and swollen), and I'm having trouble finding a good spot treater. im using neutrogena oil free face wash now which has salicylic acid in it which does not irritate my skin. i'm trying to find a salicylic acid spot thing that works but im having difficulties
What can I do to prevent breakouts of acne?
I've dealt with acne ever since I was 17. Over the years, I've tried everything from creams and pads to even seeing a dermatalogist and letting them poke me in my face with needles(ouch!) As I got older, I noticed that I would get them the most on the bridge of my nose and the space between my eyes. I really don't believe the hype of chocolate and fatty foods being the culprit. I wash my face daily with oil-free face wash because I don't like using regular soap. I've heard that drinking enough water could be a solution to this. Plz help me and thanx in advance for the advice.
