How can I clear my skin fast?
I have a homecoming dance this Saturday, and pictures the same day. My skin is really broken out, and I want it to be clear for both of these events. I've tried using rubbing alcohol, and tea tree oil and they didn't work for me. I regularly use a face wash and face lotion and an acne spot treatment but its just not working. I don't expect it to be 100% clear, but does anyone know a way to get it clearer in a few days? Oh and I don't have a lot of money to buy anything expensive.
What are some good acne treatments?
So I used to wash my face with Noxzema and moisturize my face with Johnson's baby lotion (which I'm starting to think is not a face lotion, but I used to think it was...) and then I treated any spots with Oxy Spot treatment. But I have been breaking out SO badly lately, mostly on my forehead, and sorta on the apples of my cheeks. I'm tired of having to apply concealer everyday and it would be so nice if I could just not put anything on my face on and be done with it, without having to cover up my spots. So what's a good cleanser/moisturizer/acne spot treatment? I'm sorta wanting to try Clean and Clear, but I looked at the Clean and Clear shelf at Walmart and holy *moly* there were a lot to choose from. I don't know where to start. So please give your opinion, all opinions appreciated! thxxxxx (o:
Oh and I have oily skin. Sorry. (o:
Does Water help get rid of a dry face or acne?
I've heard people tell me that if you drink a lot of water it will help prevent acne and help your skin in general. I was wondering if there was any truth behind this or not because my face is really dry right now, and I'm trying everything I can do to prevent it from being so dry with face lotion and face wash. I often do not drink nearly as much water as I should, so I am curious what everyone thinks.
Acne treatment help?
Right now, I am using Clearasil foaming face wash in the shower in the morning. This sort of dried out my skin, just around my chin and lower cheeks. I then apply face lotion to the area. My skin gets oily during school (prob cause its shitty and smelly ;) ) When I get home I just wash off my face with a wet wash cloth. If I go to the gym or do other physical activity that causes me to sweat or get dirty, I shower around 7 and use proactiv around 9-10. Proactiv seems like it is not doing it's job as far as acne is concerned on my forehead area. I would like to know what some other good facial cleansers are? Also, how do you get rid of acne scars and scabs? Especially around the hairline/ in the hair next to your hairline. How do you keep acne and blackheads from being created in your hair next to your hairline/ and your hairline? Thanks, best answer gets 10 pts.
Oh, and I am 16, White male, normal skin tone in the winter, very tan in summer. If this helps?
Acne and Blackhead treatment?
So alot of the products I have say that it might make skin too try if I use them all together. Ive tried stridex and neutrogena acne wash (not at the same time) and both overdry and just make my face go into overdrive on the oil. So Im thinking, what are your opinions of using the oil free acne wash when I shower, then using this neutrogena rapid clear acne face lotion (I tried it and it seems to make me not dry out so my pours dont go awall on the oil) and then using a 10% benzoyl peroxide solution in the evening before bed every other day? And will this take care of blackheads too over time? And do I need to steam my face before using any of those things or does using that acne wash in the shower do the trick since I take warm showers? (like is the warm shower enough for the acne wash and do I then need to steam or warm my face for the lotion and benzoyl peroxide?)
The neutrogena things are both 2.5% Salytic acid by the way.
Thanks to anyone that can help me out on this one!
