How long should i wait for acne antibiotics to work?
I have been on a course of Minocycline with 'Differin Gel' (for topical use) for around 2 months and noticed a definite improvement in my skin, yet I was still getting breakouts even after 2 months. I know that it takes a while to work nonetheless
I decided to see a dermatologist about my skin and sure enough she prescribed me a different set of antibiotics with a whole host of of other acne treatments. These included, Tetralysal, 'Differin Gel' again, a bath emollient, Dermol and erythromycin. My real question is, am I going to have to wait a whole two or so months extra on top of the time I already spent on Minocycline to see an improvement again. The reason I ask is because I am a week into the new treatment and I have developed more spots and also very dry skin.
Best Acne Spot Treatment (drugstore)?
I'm almost finished with my topical acne prescription, and I can't get a new one for about 2-3 weeks, so I wanted to just pick up a cheap, drugstore spot treatment for the time being.
Right now I am considering the Clean & Clear Advantage Acne Spot Treatment, because years ago I used it and it worked. Also, I can get a deal where the cleanser, spot treatment and moisturizer are 25$..
However, my current prescription (steivamycin) is 0.025% tretinoin and 4% erythromycin.. which I think is kinda strong? So I think that my skin might not take to a lighter product.
But back to the point.. list any GOOD spot treatments for acne that you can pick up at the drugstore (Canada), and if you can tell me the price as well. :) Thanks so much!

Commercial: Clearasil Acne Cleanser, PanOxyl Benzoyl Peroxide 10%
I've heard that a prescription drug called BenzaClin is good, but I have not tried it and I am wondering if anyone has tried it and how effective it was.

It's worse now than it has EVER been in my whole life. I used to complain when I had like ten pimples, but now I wish I could go back in time to have that! Many teenagers complain about having one single zit, but I would give everything to just have that! I'm in 12th grade, and I've had acne since the beginning of 7th grade. I've tried so many facial cleansers, topical treatments, and I've been to the dermatologist a numeral of times. I've been on three different acne treatments by the dermatologist so far. All of them work at first, but I guess when my face becomes 'immune' to it; it stops working.. which is about after a month or two. Right now I'm on the ointment ziana plus the pill solodyn. I've been on erythromycin-benzoyl peroxide topical gel, and tazorac cream. Yes, I've already tried the Pro-Activ and Clean&Clear system. I don't wear any make-up powder or foundation. I've changed my detergent, I wash all my blankets, changed my shampoo and conditioner, but nothing seems to help. I tried that trick of using toothpaste, alchohol, and many more! I'm desperate right now, and I refuse to use accutane because of the side effects. Please help me! :(

What makes matters worse is I have school tomorrow, and I go to a school where not ONE girl has acne :( Also, my dream is to become a model.. the first thing photographers and agents look at is your skin.

If you read the whole thing, you would've seen I already used that Clean&Clear system :( I had an allergic reaction to it that made my face swell up like a balloon!
Also, you would've read that I used Pro-Activ! Gawh; lol.. but thanks for answering people :)
Will taking all these supplements help me prevent acne?
I take B Complex, Vitamin C, Evening Primrose Oil (EPO), Ascorbyl Palmitate, Omega-3, Ala, DMAE, Chromium, Zinc, Tocospan Vitamin,, Calcium, Magnesium, and a Vitamin D supplement. I take each daily in addition to my acne cleanser, toner, hydrator, as well as Doxycycline and Erythromycin and Benzoyl Peroxide Topical Gel.
