Best way to get rid of acne scars and flaky skin?

I was never really the type of person to have ance. I come from a big family with clear skin. But for some reason I started breaking out very terribly( it might have been from the change of makeup I did back in september ) Well , My ance has gone away , but now I face a new challenge. Ance Scars. I restrict myself from using any foundation cover up makeup because my boyfriend hates when I wear it. Plus - I got it all over his white sweatshirt when I hugged him lol. My skin is in horrible condition tho. After all the harsh acne treatment , I have horrible dry skin. It's all flaky and dry and I put on an Olay Oil Free Face moisterizer but honestly , If i did not have that , I would be doomed. Basically to sum this up , What are some good home remedies to get rid of acne scars and deminish them ? and how can I get my skin to be nice and flaky free ? Please help because I feel so left out without clear skin cause my family alway points it out :( HELP !

Help!!! what choice would u make…?

Ok well i have alright skin but breakouts on the sides and jawline but it has been clearing up with treatment from the doctors fro about 6 months. I am 13 (14 in february) and i have been asked by the doctor if i want to try isotretinion which is a harsh acne treatment with side effects -

minor hair loss
reaelly dry skin
blood noses
dry eyes
possibly depression
and a whole heap more!! im really concerned and worried as now is a stressful time for me

So i can continue using my old treatment which can apparently still improve or risk using the next treatment which lasts 3-6 months which are described as horrible by many people but apparently effective. I dont know wheather to risk the extra stress as it might be too much for me right now or continue with my old treatment and try the new one some other time. What would you do?

Acne and Dry skin??????

Hello everyone.
I'm an 18 year old guy with some mild acne, and a dry skin. I tried many products like Maxclarity, ProActive, Tetracycline, and many other less effective treatments. Nothing really helped. So my question is, well actually i got few questions. They are:

1. How can I prevent my skin from getting dry? Like what creams or treatments I can use.
2. How can I actually get rid of Acne? Some examples of your home remedies or treatments you used.
3. How can I make acne less noticeable?

Also maybe I should try Acutane or Ibuprofen for acne? Thanks everyone for your help!

Any acne product you recommend (for dry/combo acne prone skin and acne scars)?

I recently started getting acne. (And by recently, I mean last year in 6th grade. The same year I just started getting my menstrual cycle. a.k.a period.)

Any-whoo. I'm in the 7th grade and I'm 12 years old. I have combo/dry skin, and I've tried almost every product in the world. Which isn't very wise considering the fact that the economy's bad. :P

HISTORY:
When I started getting my monthly, I also got a zit once a month. I used some products, but it didn't work. It started getting worse in the beginning on 2010. I started getting 2-3 zits a month, and then, right when I went to go to China, (around July) I had 6-7 zits all over my face. I just broke out. Blackheads, whiteheads, crystalline acne, anything and everything. You name it, I had it.

I couldn't stick to a daily regimen because when I was in China, I was in a village, and plus, you don't see many 12 year olds with travel size acne kits, now do you?

Anyway, when I came back to America, some of my acne had diminished. I was stuck with a lot of scars. But my skin was still pretty bad because my pimples just kept coming back. When one zit had disheveled, another comes. When that goes away, another comes. It was a never ending cycle. But then I started using Neutrogena Acne Stress Control Cleanser and it went back to 1-2 pimples a month. I'm still stuck with scars.

+-+-+-+-+

Now that that's done, can anyone recommend me some products? I know that everyone's skin is different, but I'm still willing to try anything and everything to reduce my acne and my acne scars. I know I inherit my acne from my mom (she had had it when she was little and my brother has acne too...but much less milder than mine) and maybe because of my period? I don't know.

PRODUCTS I'VE USED:
[Dx]Neutrogena | Oil-Free Acne Wash
[Dx]Neutrogena | Alcohol-Free Toner
[Dx]Neutrogena |Oil-Free Moisture Combination Skin
[Dx]Neutrogena | Rapid Clear 2-in-1 Fight & Fade Gel
[Dx]Aveeno | Daily Moisturizer

[:)]Neutrogena | Acne Stress Control
[:)]Sana (Japan) | Namerakahonpo Haritsuya Cream

Please list some products! (It can be through YOUR personal experience)

is oxy acne vanishing treatment supposed to hurt?

So I had a really bad breakout recently, so my mom bought me this oxy acne vanishing treatment. When I put it on, it feels like my skin is burning. One of the symptoms of using it is getting dry skin, but I can feel my skin tingling almost, so I'm not sure if it's just the treatment.
For anyone who used this treatment, Did you have this happen to you and does it really work?

What sort of moisturizer should I use for my very dry and very sensitive skin?

I was recently prescribed to a Benzoyl Peroxide Cleanser and Zania gel to treat my blackheads and slight acne. Both (the cleanser, especially) have been drying out my face IMMENSELY! My dermatologist told me that if my skin starts to dry out, take a break from the wash (peroxide cleanser) for about four days, but continue the use. I have since taken the break, continued the usage, and limited the wash to once a day, whereas whenever else I wash, I just use regular soap. My skin is still very dry to the point of peeling, but also very sensitive. I can't find a really great moisturizer that doesn't hurt, sting, or cause redness when I use it on my very dry skin. I need a moisturizer VERY badly. I have used Aveeno, Cetaphil, and St. Ives moisturizers, and all result in me rushing to the bathroom sink to relieve my face of incredible discomfort.

Does anybody know of a moisturizer that might fit my situation?
