Whats the best acne treatment youve used?

Proactiv is way to harsh on the face, I get a break out or two a month, but still its annoying. Have you discovered something that COMLETELY eliminates breakouts? I realise different things work for different people, but I still wanna know what you guys think?

What’s the best acne treatment for a teenage boy?

My 14 yr old son is starting to have some problems with acne. I've been lucky my whole life and never had to deal with it. Therefore I have no clue what works and what doesn't. I've seen a lot of ads for different things but some are pretty expensive. I'd rather not spend that much on something that isn't going to work. Any suggestions would be great.

How do you know which acne treatment is best for you?

I wanted to try alot of different things, but I came on here and asked for the opinions of others on some of those products and most of the people said the product was horrible or plain just didnt work for them.I really wanted to try the Murad acne complex but people say it did nothing for them.I know everyone's skin is different and I should try it because I have nothing to loose, but yet I have so much to .If I try another expensive product that doesnt work or only worsens my face I dont what I'll do.So tell me how do you know what works best for you,or you dont, you just take a chance and see what happens? Are there any suggestions out there about a good product other than pro-activ because it didnt work.I just need to try something new because I am fed up with this,I just got off nuetrogena it worked for awhile then stopped.SO PLEASE HELP ME,I'VE TRIED ALMOST EVERYTHING

What's a really good way to get rid of acne?

I bet a lot of people ask this, but now I need to know. I break out if I use benzoil peroxide, and I don't like things that come in 3 steps because I don't have the time and patience for that. I need a 1 step soloution that will really get rid of acne. I've tried like 10 different things, and nothing has worked too well. Even Clean & Clear advantage spot treatment worked the first week and then stopped! Can anyone help? Thanks

How do you prevent and treat acne?

I have moderate acne, and I'm a 16 year old girl. People say all different things about how to prevent and get rid of acne, like, "cleanse, tone, and moisturize" or, like my mother, "just soap and water", or else, "use tea tree oil" or whatever other specific ingredient they believe in. What's the truth?

Also, how do you get rid of the hyperpigmentation? It seems like after every pimple I have a lasting red mark.

Thanks in advance, I hope I get good answers.

Effective Acne Treatment?

I have had acne for about 5 years now. It is not as bad as it used to be, a lot of my breakouts have calmed down. But I still have a ton of blemishes underneath the skin which cause a very bumpy look. The most affected areas would be my chin, either side of my chin, on my cheeks closer to my nose and my forehead.
I have gone to the doctor about it around 2 years ago and he perscribed a few different things, none of which worked. I use makeup everyday and mosturizer only in the winter when my skin gets very dry.

Does anyone know of any effective acne treatments that will give me results?

*I don't want to take any kind of horomones because I am not comfortable with the idea of upsetting my body chemistry. I am looking for a topical solution only please :)

Can acne facial wash help with blackheads?

I know that acne and blackheads are two totally different things but would it help? Could you suggest something specifically just for blackheads? I need help please! And if you know any kind of food that will help from keep breaking out I would be greatly appreciated.
