What are the Signs and Symptoms of Diabetes?

In this video the signs and symptoms of Type 1 and 2 diabetes are discussed by Dr. Paul Stillman. Symptoms and warning signs to look out for include drinking and passing urine excessively, a general feeling of illness and also constantly feeling tired. Dr. Stillman advises that if you feel you have these symptoms visiting your GP as soon as possible is the best course of action. He also advises that patients should ask for an assessment of their blood-glucose levels which can be simply performed by analysing blood or urine. Whilst diabetes is a simple disease to diagnose, it can go unnoticed unless the correct tests are performed.
