what are your best homemade acne remedies?
for the most part, i have totally clear skin if i stick to my skin care routine, but every once in a while i get really deep, painful zits usually on my nose, but i can shake them in a day or so. i got one the other day on the side of my nose, and it is so big and ugly and painful and i cant stand another second with it. i've spent the past hour trying to make it at least hurt less, i've done 2 face washes, 5 scrubs, a mask, my wave, a spot treatment, an i even tried toothpaste, and it looks no different. i cant go to longs or anything anytime soon and i need it to be gone by tomorrow or i'll go nuts, so i need a really good, fast working homemade acne treatment, does anyone know one? also, i only need one or two, so dont send me to a site with over 100 or anything cuz then i'll just get confused. and dont make them too weird, make the ingredients stuff i would have

Ugh, okay so i'm a freshman in highschool,and am DESPERATE for my skin to be C-L-E-A-R. I have extremely oily skin, it runs in my family. I try to keep my skin under control, and for being so oily i think i do a good job. But i was wondering, i use such a variety of different products EVERYDAY that it probably can't be very good for me, can you please tell me if my following routine is more bad for my skin than good?
I wash my ace with a combination of Proactive Cleanser (exfoliating cuz it has the little beads)..which is...2 or 2.5% benzolyl peroxide...a little pink facial scrub for more exfoliation, Oxy maximum 10% benzoyl peroxide, pat dry use noxema toner (acne blemish astringent w/ 2% salicilic acid and acne medic.) and Acne Free, acne and blackhead terminator 10 % benzoyl peroxide (spot treatment but i put it all over)
Since i have been doing all this (about 2 weeks) i have had VERY few pimple on my face, but i don't think it could POSSIBLY be good for me...what do you think?
oh, and does anyone know about what age your hormones (especially the ones which effect your skin) begin to calm down and you stop breaking out?
No matter what acne treatment I try, or how many times I wash my face, my face is still covered and horrible!?
i dont have alot of acne, i have some spots where its big and some tiny red bumps, no white dots. every day i get up in morning, take a shower and in shower i was my face with soap and then wash it with 2 kinds of acne treatments that i rub and rinse. i get out of shower and i use another acne treatment that i use a cottonball and rub on my face. after that i put on a certain prescription of cream just for me i ordered from doctors, and rub it in on my acne spots and the red spots everywhere. after that i go to my room and rub lotion on my face. every day i do that and shortly after my face feels very oily cuz of the lotion, and then my face is really red and it shows all the acne spots. later during day i look in mirror and most of the acne isnt showing, and my face is kinda smooth but yet every day one pimple keeps coming in somewhere on my face no matter how much stuff i put on. so i started doin my daily routine but i stopped using lotion, and this time my face is getting extremely!!! dry and flaky and acne still comes back. i dont get it, i am putting on treatments, and washing my face every day and night, sometimes in evening. and the acne still manages to come through..wtf?! i hate my skin!!!

Anyone know of any acne cleansers from Wal-Mart that actually work?
I have moderate acne. I used to use Dermalogica Skin clearing wash, rapid clear treatment pads and neutrogena anti-acne moisturizer to help clear my skin. It worked...For a couple months..... Then, it just didn't work anymore. So, I decided to switch up my skin care routine a little. I started washing twice a day instead of just once. That didn;t help...It just aggravated it. So I started using Neutrogena's Pink Grapefruit cleanser, followed by the rapid clear treatment pads and Velocity Moisturizer...Well, once again, it's not helping AT ALL! SO....DOES ANYONE KNOW OF AN ACNE CLEANSER/TREATMENT THAT YOU CAN BUY FROM WAL-MART THAT ACTUALLY WORKS AT CLEARING UP YOUR SKIN?! AND YES- I WANT to go to the dermatologist! But my mom won't let me (I'm 17). I feel hopeless, cuz while she's busy telling me that my acne will go away on it;s own, I'm getting more and more scars (I think.... Idk.). And it is hereditary to some extent. My mom had it (not sure if it was as bad as mine) when she was young, but her parents let go to the Dermatologist. Rather than see it as a skin problem that CAN be cleared if we find the right treatment, she blaims it on me drinking "too much Dr Pepper"! She claims a dermatologist would just put me on the pill or give me expensive, dangerous topical steroids.
what acne treatment should i use? skinID?
i have been using the clean and clear acne treatment and lately its not working. i have been breaking out even more than before.
so i switched back to my old treatment which is the acne free regular treatment.
so i do not want to take proactiv cuz i dont have super oily skin and i heard it dries out your skin so NO to that.
could you recommend any acne treatments?
i think i want to try skinID.
or other neutrogena stuff.

i have had very severe breakouts in april and after that my acne settled down after using some produtcs and after that i kept getting frequent breakouts but i wud manage to control and ingore the problem. HOwever from July my face is FILLED with pustules and cystic acne and a bit of rosacea and yes i have TRIED accutane and i did not work for me for long and tried zendmed, ace free, proactiv, clearsil, neutrogena, and what not u name it. PLZ help me get this e book and i would SINCERELY appreciate your efforts .

Ok well my acne usually isn't that bad, but ever since i started exercising regularly and eating healthier it has gotten a whole lot worse. I don't know what else to do. I have tried that Acne Free Severe stuff, ProActive, Differin, BenaClin, those acne pill things, Torzac stuff, neutrogena, Clean & Clear, Clearasil, Clearasil Ultra, the clearasil cream stuff, Obagi, and a whole bunch of other things over the course of years. Nothing is working to get rid of it. Usually its tolerable cuz its not too bad, but lately its been really bad and i dont know what to do!! School starts in a couple of days and I am really freaking out here. Ive tried home remedies like the honey and cinammon, orange peels, etc.... nothing is making it better...
So if there is ANYTHING that anyone can reccomend that I havent tried already that would be great cuz i am seriously about to lose it!

O and I drink nothing but water, i drink like 5 16.9 oz bottles of ice water a day.. thats it! And i am on a healthy diet.. ( which seems to have made it worse?...) Advice on that?

just started ACCUTANE (7th day) *and face is worse than ever*?
I've only recently been taking this medicine (just took my 7th pill). I've had bad nodular acne for about 5 years or so and when the other meds barely did anything (not that they didn't just that it would stop working and im religious to my routine's trust me) now summer seems to be my worst time of the year (aka when im oiliest) and i break out badly and i'm not going to lie my summer was okay so far but in the past week my face has NEVER been this bad... i've had no other side effects maybe alil bit drier lips so far but i've never had cystic acne and i've gotton 2 bumps that are so raw and painful plus some painful inner nose pimples as well im in alot of pain it hurts to smile how am i suppose to stay in a good mood? haha well if you have been on this medication can u give me some relief does accutane make it heal faster? should it be this bad? cuz i'm callin the doc otherwise TY in ADVANCE
