I have clogged pores, should I be able to use a foundation?
I have mild acne (blackheads, clogged pores) but someone told me I should use hypoallergenic foundations. Should I risk it?
How do you get rid of stubborn black heads and clogged pores that just wont go away?
I have bad clogged pores on my nose and chin. I have tryed almost everything. Acne treatments, facial scrubbs, astrengents, special masks and facial clensers. Nothiing can make them go away. I even tryed a wash that a friend of mine swore took away his black heads in less than a month. Didnt work on me after two months. The treatment I am using right now is making them lighter, but not taking them away. Please help me! It is embarassing and gross.
Used black head pore strips too. they dont work either.
does anyone know a good acne treatment?
ive had it for two years. the dermatalogist said i have 'mild acne' and gave me retin-a but it didnt work. ive tried proactive, the zeno thing, acnexus, and herbal pills. it just doesnt make sense to me. i eat right, drink a lot of water, take a shower everyday, take vitamins, follow my acne routine religiously and am in great shape. im in college so i dont get that much sleep thats the only thing. again, it is only mild acne, but it makes no sense to me why if i unclog my pores everyday with acne medicine, i still get clogged pores and acne. can someone give me a treatment that WILL work? im sick of acne. every acne product i try says it works for 90 percent of patients but i dont get why im never in that 90 percent. its extremely aggravating, and my social life and self esteem is suffering because of it

- they are gross.
- you can see them from space.
- my pores are HUGE.
Blackheads.
- i have them.
- see above.
Pimples.
- are disgusting.
- i have those too.
- my back, neck, cheeks, forehead, jaw line, back, boobs.
i want clear skin.
i mean, really clear skin.
i mean, flawless skin.
how do i get it, i'll do/buy anything.
How to control stubborn acne?
These big, red, swollen bumps have been on my cheeks almost a month. I have oily/sensitive skin with blackheads and clogged pores all over face. I have been using only aloe-vera based products this past year because it promised clear skin but it not working. I need acne products that work. preferably some sort of kit that I can buy at drugstores. not clean & clear advantage because that really irritates my skin.
Acne from blackheads?
I've been using Clean & Clear Soft line, and my face is pretty clear. I went out and bought Neutrogena Acne Stress Control Power Scrub the other day because it has salicylic acid in it and the Soft line doesn't. I thought my blackheads were just on my nose, but I just realized I have tiny ones in different spots all over my face. I think that's where I get some clogged pores and some zits. I have pretty sensitive skin that gets very dry very easily. I was wondering if the Power Scrub is a good product to use or should I use a different one?

p.s i am on a budget and wont buy anthing over 10$! also ive been to the dermatologist and it was a waste of time for me. i dont have the time to take a thousand pills and etc! so drugstore stuff works best!
oh and what gets rid of really oily skin? yeah its gross but i need all the help i can get!

Salicylic acid peel and other acne treatments?
I have been battling skin problems for the past 10 years and although my acne isn't too terrible now, I have lots of clogged pores all over my face, upper arms, and all over my back. I also have some pretty moderate scarring on my lower back and upper arms. On top of that, I get tons of tiny flesh colored bumps all over my upper back and upper arms that won't stay away no matter how many times I scrub them off.
I have tried bio oil and vitamin E oil for acne scars and have just started using tea tree oil to get rid of what acne I have left. I was looking into buying a bottle of salicylic acid for an at home peel but don't know what I need to get.
Also, are there any other at home treatments I can do to help get rid of my acne, scars, or the flesh colored bumps on my body? I don't have the money to see a dermatologist (and I've been before, they aren't much help). I am so sick of hating the way my skin looks and having to pick out my clothing based on how bad my acne is that day.

Okay, I just bought this at Walmart seeing if it would work and I put it on twice today. Since this is the first day I had it, I knew that I really wouldn't notice much difference. So first, how long does it take for me to actually see some results. Second, does it work on clogged pores, blackheads, or whiteheads. And third, on a scale of 1-10, how well did it work for you.

Do anyone have any expertise on controlling mild acne?
I recently started getting acne,blackheads and clogged pores on the sides of my chin and nowhere else. I tried using Neutrogena oil free acne wash..it seems like that made it worse so I am avoiding any facial washes or acne treatment that contains salicylic acid. Any suggestions?
