Which is better for MY pimples? Salicylic acid or Benzoyl peroxide? See details.?
Okay. I have a few horrible painful breakouts. They're red and the pimples are big. I'm 14, so Im just at that age. I don't really need to see a dermitologist. I have a lot of spot treatments though. I have Clean and Clear Advantage Acne Spot Treatment. Which is salicylic acid. Or, I have Benzigel5. - 5%BP. I have sensitve and very oily skin, mainly or my nose and forehead. I breakout very often. Not a day goes by that I don't have more than at least 2 pimples. I have big ones, and then just small tiny red dots that haven't come out of the skin yet on the corner of my mouth. Which product is better for me? The BP or Salicylic Acid ? Which will take less time? WHICH IS BETTER FOR MY SKIN!
Ps, the Cleanser I use is pHisoderm- Normal to Oily Skin, and does NOT have any acne fighting chemicals in it.

Need help finding right foundating for me please!! please help!! :)!?
Okay I'm 16 almost 17- First off, I hear it's good to wear foundation to protect your skin from chemicals, etc, but I also heard it's bad for your skin, especially if you're young like me. Is this true?? Anyway, so my skin is normal to dry- No severe acne - A few pimples here and there and some blackheads too but nothing serious. A little freckles. Well I want really really clear skin and I went looking for a foundation and picked up Maybelline liquid foundation but i'm not really noticing a difference-So is powder foundation better or something?? It said shin-free foundation so I don't know if this one was specifically made for anti-shine..Thanks for your help!!!
*shine free foundation
What can I do with my skin?
I've never had problems with my skin (even as a teen) but now that I'm pregnant my face has broken out! I have little white bumps on my forehead and along my jaw line with larger, red blemishes popping up here and there.
During pregnancy I have to stay away from many acne products because they contain chemicals and acids that can be harmful to the development of baby.
Can anyone suggest some home facials or treatments I can do??
How to clear acne?
I easily get acne on my face i get a pimple then after a week of getting rid of it i get another one.I put Hydrogen Peroxide which by recent personal experience it helpsto heal it fast due to the bacteria killing chemicals.Anyways I get acne easily and I was wondering if anybody could tell me how to clear it up and to prevent acne from coming back.O and i have long hair so i have alot of litle bumps on my forehead that are a type of acne idk which though. And i was wondering if my long hair could be causing the litle bumps.
I just started using the AcneFree clear skin treatment?
I usually don't have much pimples, usually at maximum 2 pimples per month just randomly pop up, but that's just it. But I can't stand getting random pimples appearing when I have a special occasion to attend to or etc. Okay, so anyways, this is my 2nd day using the AcneFree treatment. & It stings like crazy! Should I keep using it? Does it really work? I feel like my pimple is getting bigger, or maybe it's just me..
People tell me acne treatments usually begin working after using it for about a week, for your face to adjust to the chemicals. Advice?
How well does ProActive work?
I have mild acne, mostly caused by oil. I've heard that ProActive helps with mild acne better than severe acne, but I'd like a second (or 3rd, or 4th...) opinion before I make any purchases. If ProActive does not work very well, if anyone has an alternate acne-fighting method, I'd love to hear it. I've tried a product called "Acne Free", which I've seen in several magazines. The product turned my face red, and after the redness went away, it was very sore and flaky. I believe it was either an allergic reaction, or possibly a chemical burn. I'm somewhat worried that ProActive may have the same chemicals. If anyone has any information on this, it would be very helpful. Thank you for taking the time to read this, and I'm sorry it's rather long. XD I just wanted to try to make everything clear. ^_^ If anyone can help, I'd be very thankful
What is the best skin care facial product for severe acne?
Im am a teenager with severe acne/blackheads and oily skin type. For daily use, I wash my face with a light foam cleanser but it isnt doing much help for my acne. (I also use witch hazel toner) I have heard from many people that nutregena and proactive work realy well. But I have also heard that proactive has alot of chemicals in it that can OVER dry your skin. I usually wear makeup to school to hide my hideous face full of acnes. If any of you out there has had this experience and/or know a few things about treating acne, PLEAAAASE give me suggestions and any skin care products you recomend. Thank you so much and all your help is appreciated!

has a disease called P .O.E.M.S syndrome yes its real and very rare,About POEMS Syndrome
POEMS syndrome is a rare blood disorder without a known cause. Researchers believe the syndrome involves an overgrowth of bone marrow cells (plasma cells), which produce chemicals that damage other parts of the body. It is not inherited, nor is it contagious. The term "POEMS" is an acronym for the most common symptoms. It can affect anyone, but the majority of people with POEMS syndrome are over 50 with a slightly higher percentage of men with this disorder than women. Patients sometimes confuse POEMS syndrome with multiple myeloma. The symptoms and potential complications of these diseases are very different. The average expected life span is better in patients with POEMS than in patients with classic multiple myeloma.anyway, he is uses a electric wheelchair to get around and he has paralysis in his hands and they are in cupped position and he has it in his feet to,i myself am not able to get around well but i do try to help him when i can,he does some things on his own,but here is where i come in to ask many of you kind people on here to please direct me to any and all info i can gather that will help him.He is not able to make the necessary repairs on his mobile home that need to be done like fixing a broken window ,2 doors that do not lock,he needs a wheelchair ramp and list goes on,I have called H.U.D ,Habitat for humanity, They said because he lives in a mobile home they can not help him.I even sent emails to some local radion stations and churches about him,an they do not reply back My question is there has to be some sort of agency out there in like there that helps disabled people like him .Ive been trying for over 4 weeks doing research ,going to the library and reading and reading all i can .now my next step is to come here and ask everyone here so any info would be a Blessing .THANK YOU
