woa project awsome canada on diabetes

www.diabetes.ca There are three main types of diabetes. Type 1 diabetes, usually diagnosed in children and adolescents, occurs when the pancreas is unable to produce insulin. Insulin is a hormone that controls the amount of glucose in the blood. Approximately 10 per cent of people with diabetes have type 1 diabetes. The remaining 90 per cent have type 2 diabetes, which occurs when the pancreas does not produce enough insulin or when the body does not effectively use the insulin that is produced. Type 2 diabetes usually develops in adulthood, although increasing numbers of children in high-risk populations are being diagnosed. A third type of diabetes, gestational diabetes, is a temporary condition that occurs during pregnancy. It affects approximately 2 to 4 per cent of all pregnancies (in the non-Aboriginal population) and involves an increased risk of developing diabetes for both mother and child. Prediabetes refers to a condition where a person's blood glucose levels are higher than normal, but not yet high enough to be diagnosed as type 2 diabetes. Is diabetes serious? If left untreated or improperly managed, diabetes can result in a variety of complications, including: ■Heart disease ■Kidney disease ■Eye disease ■Problems with erection (impotence) ■Nerve damage The first step in preventing or delaying the onset of these complications is recognizing the risk factors, as well as signs and symptoms of diabetes. Hair Transplantation – Non-Surgical and Surgical Hair Loss Treatments – Dr. Rahal

www.hairtransplantnetwork.com Dr. Hussain Rahal discusses non-surgical and surgical hair loss treatment options he provides hair loss sufferers visiting his hair transplant clinic. Below is a transcript of the hair transplant video for your reference. "First of all, a patient comes in with hair loss, my first step is to make a diagnosis as to what is the cause of their hair loss. If it's determined that they have male pattern or genetic type of hair loss, medications are a big part of the treatment plan. And that's something we will encourage patients to use. If they're surgical candidates, to go through the surgical options whether it's the strip surgery or follicular unit extraction, from a surgical point. And to make sure they're taking care of their body as a whole. Hair loss could be genetic but we can make big steps towards nurturing healthy bodies, vitamins, nutrition and exercise. This is something we don't specify a specific plan, but it is something we discuss and make sure a patient is moving that way." Dr. Hussain Rahal is a highly esteemed member of the Coalition of Hair Restoration Physicians and recommended on the Hair Transplant Network. What's a good acne system?

To start off, I don't have acne, but I get whiteheads and blackheads quite often. I also have a little bit of scaring, but not much. That's easy to cover up with make up.
I hear pro active makes acne worse, so I'm nervous to try it.
I would've liked to try Skin ID, but I can't since they won't ship to Canada.
I've tried stuff like Clean and Clear, Clinique, Nutrogena, etc. None of it seems to work well.
Any suggestions?
