How can I get rid of this ginormous cystic pimple?

I am prone to acne, but I take care of my skin really well so i rarely get bad breakouts. But in the past 2 days this pimple has come up on my forehead and just keeps growing! It's very cystic, therefore not poppable. Any ideas on how to reduce the swelling atleast?

How can I stop my acne breakouts before they happen?

I keep getting breakout after breakout (on my face). I just want to know how I can genuinely stop my acne from appearing.

I'm on the third different kind of medication and it just doesn't really work that much. I've watched my diet in the past, washed with different scrubs etc. - but these breakouts just seem to be random :/ I sometimes feel like crying because my skin is so bad. I really need help with this.

Should I wash my face more than twice a day?

I never really had a major problem with acne throughout my teen years. I am now 21. I used to have very oily skin here and there but my breakouts were under control when I used papaya natural bar soap until I got so curious with the Tea Tree line from The BodyShop and st. ives apricot scrub. I find both of them were just way too harsh for my skin. Then I switch to Aiken Tea Tree Oil with hope I could get rid of my already was acne, ok that was 3 months ago. Then I switch back to the papaya bar soap, but this too didnt seem to work for my skin anymore. I then tried using a sea cucumber extract anti acne facial wash together with the moisturizer. It was ok until the second week I breakout tremendously that I had to switch back to the papaya bar soap. But this time, not only it made my acne worsen, I also get this tight sort of feeling around my cheeks and mouth, it hurts so much when I wash my face especially on the cheeks, and I experience redness all over my face, my pimples look irritated and my skin was overdry. I tried putting Bio Oil since it is used to rehydrate dry skin, I applied it as often as I could but nothing worked. Absolutely nothing. I was depressed with my dry skin. I breakout almost everywhere. My forehead (which I never had pimples on my forehead), My cheeks, jaw line, chin and above my upper lips. There are many of them. I tried using benzoyl peroxide from 5% to 10%, it irritated my pimples. My skin gets really dry and sensitive due to applying too much harsh products on my skin. But then after hours of research through the internet, I found Cetaphil gentle skin cleanser which can be used on baby's skin and wont sting eyes. That pretty much explains how mild and gentle this cleanser is! I've been using this for 2 days, together with neutrogena alcohol free and a cetaphil moisturizer for dry and sensitive skin and not to forget, a clean and clear acne spot treatment. Work wonders! My pimples are shrinking dramatically over night. I only applied once on my red angry pimple. So far, this is the first time in these 4 months period that I have NO NEW PIMPLES growing in a day. like seriously. I can see my existing acne is clearing out. My skin is back to normal and no more dry flaky skin after only 2 times applying little amount of cetaphil moisturizer. I'm happy with my skin condition right now, oh I've been drinking lots and lots of water lately, that helps too I guess. Really sorry for this long message, but I just want to share to everybody how amazing this products are. It takes lots of trial and error until you found the right products for your skin. I would suggest to be more gentle to your skin rather than using harsh chemicals to actually treat your acne. So my question is, I must wash my face 4 times a day, in the morning 6am, after having my lunch around 1pm, after I got back from Uni around 6pm and before bed 12pm. I was told to only wash face twice per day. Is this bad for my skin? I really dont want to ruin my skin. Having a dry flaky skin really is a nightmare for me..

Recommendations for home acne treatments?

Lately no products working for me... In general, most products work really well for me for about a week, and then after that it just dries up and my skin breaks out. Now, i've been bouncing back between a bunch of different products because none have been working, and now my chin has a rash and dry skin and it stings. I also got a lot of blackheads and whiteheads where i used to not break out.

anyone have any home remedys that'll sooth my skin and lessen the breakouts?

Help!!! what choice would u make…?

Ok well i have alright skin but breakouts on the sides and jawline but it has been clearing up with treatment from the doctors fro about 6 months. I am 13 (14 in february) and i have been asked by the doctor if i want to try isotretinion which is a harsh acne treatment with side effects -

minor hair loss
reaelly dry skin
blood noses
dry eyes
possibly depression
and a whole heap more!! im really concerned and worried as now is a stressful time for me

So i can continue using my old treatment which can apparently still improve or risk using the next treatment which lasts 3-6 months which are described as horrible by many people but apparently effective. I dont know wheather to risk the extra stress as it might be too much for me right now or continue with my old treatment and try the new one some other time. What would you do?

What is the best acne treatment? Over the counter, or natural?

I'm 38 years old and still battling acne - ugh. Right around my chin, really no where else on my face. I've been to the dermatologist who prescribed clindamyacin (spelling?) wipes, but after using them for a year, I think the antibiotic contained in them is not working as well. Now I'm breaking out again. Plus, I really don't like to use antibiotics if they really aren't necessary.

What products have you used and what has worked best for you? My main goal is to keep my skin clear and to prevent breakouts, but any advice on what to use after a break out is good too. Any recommendations either over the counter, herbal or home made are most welcome!

Thanks!

What's a good product for mild acne?

Since I've been really stressed out lately, I have alot of breakouts on my forehead. Some are pretty painful. I also have a few blackheads on my nose.

What can I use? Neutrogena isn't strong enough, but I'm afraid with prescription it will be too strong. I used my brother's prescription cream and and scarred and made some of my old acne from two years leave marks.

Help?

is it possible that my birth control is causing me to have acne?

I've always had a few breakouts here and then never anything extreme, mostly just blackheads.
Since starting birth control (beyaz) last month I've noticed a change in my skin. I've been getting large under the skin type pimples the kind that are painful and bleed a lot of leave a scab if you pop them.

I thought that if anything birth control was supposed to HELP acne not CAUSE acne.
Is this just a weird coincidence or is the birth control possibly causing it?
If so what should I do?

Effective Acne Treatment?

I've always suffered from a pretty moderate acne problem, but it's never really bothered me too much. But lately I've been having worse breakouts and it's affecting all of my face. I'm using this Neutrogena cream stuff but it doesn't seem to be helping much.

Can anyone tell me how I can prevent breakouts like less soda or something like that? Also if you know of any face washes or homemade remedies that can help me, please let me know!

Thanks :)
