What happens when you skip a day on birth control? how long do i have to wait for the pill to work?
Im barely starting birth control.I have a pill missing from week 4 on a thursday.I says the tablets on week 4 are inactive.Would this effect how it works? How long do i have to wait for the birth control to work? (my doctor said it takes 1 month for the pill to work).

I lost my virginity on Thursday (we used protection) and it's now Sunday. I had very little bleeding at first, but the next day, I had heavy bleeding with horrible cramps, and the same the next day. Now it's starting to subside though, so what I'm wondering is, how can you tell if the bleeding is from breaking your hymen, or from your period? I need to know because I need to start birth control pills, and if this isn't my period, then I need to know when it is so that I can start them.

well that is the reason its just that my mom wouldn't understand and i saw that the pill does treat cramps and shorten period. I mean i would tell her but i dout that she would let me.
