Okay so I need a birth control pill to regulate my period and for the sole purpose of birth control. What pill has the least side effects and is safe to take. It can't stop my period at all, a lighter period is fine, but stopping it completely isn't something I want. Even if its for a month. How long does it take for birth control to work, for it to prevent pregnancy?
