i dont really have acne but my friend does and she keeps pestering me to tell her how i have such clear skin (i get it form my mom) i dont do anything but wash my face with normal soap, it works for me, but i really want to tell her something useful because she has it really bad, help me out! what is the best acne treatment?

I have tried everything to help my acne-its ridiculous; PLEASE HELP!?
I have tried topical creams,facial scrubs,face washes, and some around-the-house "remedies", and even tried Pronixen, supposedly the 2nd best acne treatment of 2009.. I'm done spending money on this stuff that doesn't work so what is some things that work that I probably have around the house?
I'm 16, my acne type would probably be considered severe and consists of SEVERE blackheads on my nose and white heads,pimples all around my cheeks and chin. I'm currently using Stridex face-was pads twice a day and it isn't working well.
This acne drains my self-confidence more then anything ever could and I would do anything to get rid of it.
