Do these Home Remedies work for acne?

Okay so I heard toothpaste works as a spot treatment, like put tooth paste on the pimple overnight, and wash it off does that work?

Also, does crushed aspirin and lemon work? If so how much, and how do I make it, and apply it?

I need to get rid of bad acne on my forehead in a week, what can i use?

Big red ones, just on my forehead. No oatmeal masks or tooth paste treatments, i tried it and they don't work, they only irritate it.
I'm trying the aspirin thing right now. I need something homemade that gets rid of them!

Concerns about the birth control pill…

I'm 19 and I'm about to go on the pill (my appointments in a couple weeks). I was going to do it before i went into my first year of college, but I was really nervous and unsure about it at that time and decided to put it off for a little while, now I'm going into my sophmore year and I feel it's something i need to do. At the same time though, I'm still uncertain about it...

I don't follow any homeopathic regiments, nor do i use any homeopathic treatments of any sort, but I do feel I follow the mentality of those who do. I've always felt weird about putting medicines into my body (such as things like Tylenol, Ibuprofen, Aspirin, etc) and normally avoid it at all costs. Now that I'm going on the pill I feel really weird about putting hormones into my body, which will stop my body from doing something it's supposed to do naturally (even though it's rather convenient that it does stop it) and potentially change my body physically. Do the hormones change your personality in any way? Or your body? Is there anything that might surprise me that happens once I get on the pill?

I have really bad/annoying symptoms when it's that time of the month and I feel like I'm out of commission for two weeks out of the month, and I really don't want to be out of commission for half of my life, as it's already been a problem for 7 or 8 years of my life. I know the pill will help with the irritibality, mood swings, acne, etc, which I am SO looking forward to, cuz I'm generally a very kind hearted person who occasionally lashes out at people (generally my mother, perhaps that's natural, lol) because I can't control my hormones. So basically, i'm saying I want to take the pill, and it's my choice to go on it, I'm just a bit nervous and don't know what to expect, even though both my mom was on it, and my older sister has been on it for some time, just because this time it has to do with MY body.

One other thing is that I know there are different levels of dosages you can get, ones with less hormones and such in them, and i was just wondering if the ones with less hormones are therefore less effective against the side effects of having your period (mood swings, irritability, etc)?

Sorry for all the concerns and questions, I just want to do this right, as it is my body afterall.

Skin help…acne AND a rash =(?

Sooo...I have had acne for 3-4 years now.
I don't know if you'd call it "severe" or everything, sometimes my face looks really bad, like 10 pimples...other times like 2.
I've tried everything to get rid of it.... I spend SO much time washing my face; you'd think I'd have perfect skin. But the thing is, no matter how much I clean my face, it's NEVER completely clear.
So…let’s see….
I've tried Clean & Clear Advance acne kit, Proactive, Acne Free kit, Clean & Clear spot treatment, I've tried Neutrogena, I've tried ALL the generic stuff...I've tried literally all the combinations I could make from the stuff in the kits. I've tried literally every face wash they carry at Wal-Mart and CVS.
I wash my face everyday (at least 3 times). I shower everyday (and at night too--even thought it'd be easier for me to in the morning, I've figured it's better to shower after the day is over and sleep clean, then it would if I lied in bed all night dirty--yes I put *that* much thought and effort into this).
I've tried toothpaste. I've tried crushed up aspirin, I've tried lemons. I've tried apple cider vinegar. I've tried cucumber face masks.
…I use to sleep on my side/stomach...I now sleep uncomfortably on my back ( I have to sleep in like the crack of my bed so I don't roll over >.>) so that my face doesn't touch the pillow.
I force myself to drink bottles of water all day long. I haven't had a sip of soda in 2 years. I've been avoiding eating anything man made, I pretty much live off of salad, I don't even use dressing, Y_Y. I don’t even where any kind of skin make-up or blush.

Point is, I’ve tried EVERYTHING.
And like, this week, my face basically exploded. My face is always red, and my pimples leave bad marks. Not only that, but I have pimples on my face that won’t go away…they're not red/ a scar...the skin just grows on top of the pimple, so it's liek a bump on my skin, (DISGUSTING I know T_T).

So nowwww, on Monday, I woke up with a horribleee rash on my face. Like, blots of my face are all red and puffy and like oily. It hurts too. Other parts of my skin aren’t red, but it’s realllly bumpy and dry.

So, I haven’t put anything on my face for three days. I’m really at my wits end. I really don’t feel comfortable in my skin at all. Last night, I basically bawled for an hour because my face looks so bad.
Like, I've been dressing in gray lately and I've been avoiding talking to people face-to-face, because my face looks so bad.

I really don’t know what to do =(
I have no idea where the rash came from.
I have NO ideas left on how to get rid of my acne.
I don't know what I'm doing wonggg. Urgh.

So, please, PLEASE, ANY help would be GREATLY appreciated.

Thank you.

I've tried everything to rid myself of acne. Please Help!?

I guess my acne is only 'mild', but nothing I do will make the pimples go away. They only show up around my chin, but occasionally I'll get one on my forehead or cheek. I really only have constant pimples on my chin that do not go away. I am naturally pretty pale, so any marks are extremely noticeable. I have many (at least 5 on each side of my chin) little skin-colored bumps, and then there are a few skin-colored bumps that are a bit larger in the middle of my chin. I also have the remains of a huge cystic pimple that hasn't gone away, and that originally appeared back in October. It was extremely painful to begin with, but now all that is left is an occasionally sore red circle. My chin breaks out regularly, usually one or two pimples at a time, but there is always a mark left, even though I usually don't pop them. I'm 16 and recently moved to a pretty humid environment with hot sweaty summers and freezing winters, and since I moved from Arizona, where it's extremely dry, I was thinking that maybe the humidity is getting to my skin. I've been here for about 8 months, and I would think my skin would've adjusted by now.
I've used everything these past 8 months, so I'll try to list them all (sorry this is long, but I want to be as detailed as possible):
-Clean & Clear Continuous Acne Control Cleanser
-Clearasil Benzoyl Peroxide Spot Treatment
-Neutrogena Acne Cleansing Cloths (ones in the orange tub)
-Neutrogena Rapid Clear Pads and Gel Spot Treatment
-St. Ives Apricot Scrub
-Noxema (Original and scrub)
-Neutrogena Stress Control Cream Cleanser
-Noxema Blemish Pads (these worked well for me two years ago, but do nothing now)

Natural/At-Home Remedies I have used with no effect include aspirin, witch hazel (which was all I had to use in Arizona for soft, clean skin), yogurt, and alcohol.

I miss my beautiful, clear skin that has seemingly abandoned me since leaving AZ. I am currently using PanOxyl Wash in the morning (contains Benzoyl Peroxide), Aveeno Clear Complexion Cleanser Pads at night (these seem to help 'brighten' my skin and help with scars, so I will probably stick with these), and I moisturize with Clean & Clear Oil-Free Morning Burst. I have recently tried Bye Bye Blemish drying lotion, and this seems to help a small bit with visible whiteheads, but does nothing to other blemishes.
I'm on my step mother's insurance, and she won't let me see a dermatologist.
*Please don't suggest ProActive, as it burns my skin and makes it red.*

I don't know what to try anymore, since nothing really helps. Am I just going through that teenage pimple phase? I'd really appreciate any advice or suggestions. I miss feeling pretty and secure with myself.

Does this seem crazy as an acne prevention treatment?

I use equal parts every thing accept a little less hydrogen peroxide and menthol alcohol for cuts and such. I get witch hazel, rose water, tea tree oil, menthol alcohol, hydrogen peroxide, and 10-15 crushed aspirin's. I mix this all up and use it as a toner/ acne treatment. Remember I don't put too much alcohol or peroxide a lot less then the other ingredients. It seems to be working wonder's but do you feel this is harmful in any way's?
