Pores, scars n Micro dermabrasion? wedding coming plsss help soooon?
I have been going to dermatologist for 6 months n still it has just taken my acnes n no real result, tho im visiting best dermatologist. I had been cruel to my skin, used things randomly b4 i started with d dermatologist. I used walnut scrub without a pack, used retin creams, used toothpaste,even used the harsh backcleaner :( .. As a result my pores are large n kind of scrapped,look like wrinkled skin. Skin is oily yet dull, laugh lines r quite elderly looking. Acne scars r there n my nose looks really bad with deep gone blackheads-i've tried all ways to remove them n even tried d saloon, but the lady after 2 months said that i need some chemical treatment. So guys tell me is micro dermabrasion a solution? Also suggest other home remedies n skin care n food tips. My sister is getting married after 1.5 month so i wanna look better. solution 4- 1.dull scapped skin. 2. deep gone blackheads 3. uneven shaped large pores. i got no glow even though im 19yr girl. I've lost confidence.thnx.help
Using soap to prevent acne…?
I have heard if you use soap on your face in the shower, it can cause acne...is it true? Will the chemicals in the soaps react with the oils or pre-acne?
I use water only, as of this...but usually twice a week I use lotion on my face, also after shaving.
What can I do to prevent acne? I don't have any at the moment, except for a few small acnes on my nose.
FQ: How do I get rid of the small acnes on my nose? they're not visible, but I hate them...
Does tea tree oil create blackheads?
I've been using tea tree oil lotion, to clear my acne. It's really working , sort of, but alot of blackheads started appearing. Did the tea tree oil cause it? Or maybe its just that my acnes disappearing while my blackheads are being formed. =O
Is laser-type treatment for slight small acne OK?
I'm 47 and am on mental health meds, which cause acne. The amoxicillin that my dermatoligist prescribed got rid of the back acne (bacne). However, there were small amounts of acne-like spots on my forehead area. My dermatoligist treated them with some sort of device that shocked the acne and he said to leave it alone, these small acnes - some were like little warts that won't go away with benzoyl peroxide. He said in a few days the treated areas will peel. Has anyone had this treatment? What exactly is it called? The small acnes on my forehead were stubborn so he said these treatments would help. I had no acne when in my twenties and was young but have it now from the meds...
What is the best skin care facial product for severe acne?
Im am a teenager with severe acne/blackheads and oily skin type. For daily use, I wash my face with a light foam cleanser but it isnt doing much help for my acne. (I also use witch hazel toner) I have heard from many people that nutregena and proactive work realy well. But I have also heard that proactive has alot of chemicals in it that can OVER dry your skin. I usually wear makeup to school to hide my hideous face full of acnes. If any of you out there has had this experience and/or know a few things about treating acne, PLEAAAASE give me suggestions and any skin care products you recomend. How do I get rid of acne?
I have already tried the clean and clear acne spot treatment, proactive, neutrogena pink grapefruit scrub, and neutrogena acne pads. Some of my acne is recurring and some just always comes up. My acnes not as bad as others but i would like to have a clear, smooth face.
