Does coconut oil clog pores? Does it moisturize skin well?
all of the skin around my mouth is very red, dry, flaky, and irritated because I've been using an acne spot treatment on pimples near my mouth and the weather near me is beyond cold. My regular clinique moisturizer isnt helping it so i was wondering if organic coconut oil would help more? but i have very acne prone skin so do you think it would break me out? i would only put it on the spots around my mouth and just a little bit.
what do you think?
all answers are highly appreciated, but please no spam. thanks :)

I want to know some ways to feel prettier in general? I'm a confident person, but I want to enhance the way…?
...I look. Thanks. here are the catergories I want advice on:
makeup, workout routine, skin, and nails
description: I have medium-long extremely wavy hair, it's golden brown, sometimes lighter than cinnamon, but hardly. I have almond shaped olive green eyes, a slightly large nose, tan, olivey skin (I'm half Irish, part russian and austrian but I lived in the sun for years) I'm tall, 20 pounds heavier than I wish, and I need motive to be able to drop those pounds. Help needed. thank you :)
MAKEUP: I'm pretty good at choosing the proper shades of makeup, but I'm not afraid to experiment. I'm fond of gold eyeshadow and such, and least fond of light blue or yellow. Plums, golds, grays, and blacks are my favorite. Any tips that might go well on me?
NAILS: I mix it up ALL the time. Every three days I have a different color on. Red is a classic favorite, but lately I've been coating on black instead. What tips or colors may work for me? Also, I mess with them and they're always to short. How can I grow them out fast, and keep them that way?
WORKOUT: I want a good solid workout that will ensure a 20 pound lose by Christmas. I'm 14, so I can lose weight quickly. I have a home gym, and it is equipped with an eliptical, an exercise bike, a rebounder, a bowflex, and an ab coaster. I also have a nice neighborhood to run in.
SKIN: I have acne-prone skin thanks to heridity, and I have had mild acne since I was 10. I really like sugary foods, and it's already in my genes. I have a dermetologist and I have acne treatment from him, so I'm good with products. Any tips on how to calm it though?
THANK U SO MUCH :)
Really Bad Acne I Need Some Help, Please?
Okay, so I've looked at some acne questions people have asked and I've noticed that they are kind of broad. They don't mention what skin type you have, how acne prone you are, ETC. So here some stuff about me before I continue-
I'm thirteen
I've got really acne prone skin.
Its kind if oily
Tons of acne scars
No blackheads
Its a genetic thing
It comes from stress(I am guessing).
Okay, so I've tried Clearasil, Panoxyl, Biore and Neutrogena.(None worked for me) I am currently using the Anti-Stress Foaming Face Wash and its helping, some. My face doesn't break out as much anymore, but I still have scars and tiny bumps across my forehead nose and chin. I don't want to use make-up because it won't really get rid of these problems and personally I find that I am too young. I don't want to use proactive because I've heard your skin gets totally dependable on it. I am convinced that my skin works with Salicylic Acid washes, but do they hurt your skin? And also, I've heard of something called Skin ID, is that really good?
I've tried going to dermatologists, but all they can do is get rid of the acne, not the scars. The scars are what I am really worried about.
So my main question here is: What are some good washes, remedies or masks of anything else you've got that can get rid of the acne and the scars.
Okay, thanks!
Blackhead cleansers?
I'm having a bit of trouble with blackheads all over my nose. I also have somewhat acne prone skin. I can't seem to find any cleansers that actually get rid of the blackheads and control the rest of my slight acne issue. Anyone have any favorite products they use for this kind of thing? Any recommendations?
ACNE. Nothing has worked. I NEED HELP!?
Please help me. I'm a 14 year old girl with oliy, acne-prone skin. I have whiteheads on my nose, forehead, and sometimes chin. I have a lot of blackhead on my nose, but I really don't care about those. I have A LOT of redness and a few acne scars.
I am SO EFFING innsecure about my skin, and I just feel very ugly because of my skin.
Not ONE thing has worked. Proactive, Obagi, Acne Free, Retin-A, Murad, and everything at drugstores. Nothing has helped. I am absolutly terrified of getting that really ugly seaver acne on my cheeks, and I think that's might start to happen, becuase I just got a pimple on my cheek.
Someone PLEASE help me.
I am desperate.
Why does my skin feel soft to the touch, yet looks really dry?
I have very acne prone skin so I use a acne spot treatment on my pimples and clean and clear acne foam wash. I also moisturize daily. I wear a full face of makeup (foundation, powder, blsuh, liner) no more than 4-5 days out of the week. I don't get it why is it that when I feel my face it's soft, but when I wear makeup my face looks really dry and aged. Are there any homemade facial treatments or over the counter facial products that I can purchase? How is what my skin doing possible? Has this ever happened to you?
which one of these facials should i get at the spa to get rid of blackheads?

Help improve my diet to clear ACNE?!?! PLEASE!!!?
Well i'm trying to get rid of my pimples!! I was hoping maybe you guys could add something to my daily routine to improve my acne prone skin?
1. Morning - wash face with an anti-blackhead scrub and a wash cloth.
2. Work - wash face at around 2 pm again with the daily blackhead scrub.
3. Come home - exercise. stuff like leg lifts, crunches, cuz i'm trying to get back into shape.
4. Wash face again.
5. Night - Wash face again with the anti-blackhead scrub.
Erm... so yea.. any suggestions on what I should do to improve it?
My diet usually includes
1. LOTS of milk, coffee addict... erm about 500 - 600 mL of milk, like chocolate milk, plain milk... hehe yea..
2. Black tea
3. Loads of veggies, am a vegetarian except for sea food
4. salmon twice a week, tuna once every 2 weeks maybe
5. Rice almost everyday
6. Bread once a day
7. Cereal for breakfast.
8. Always eat 2 apples a day
