How effected is 'Exposed Acne Treatment'? What are the advantages/disadvantages?
I have not so nice skin, haha. It's not terrible but it tends to be quite dry, my blackheads seem to be never ending.. I basically have the average teenagers acne problem :(
I've tried Proactiv, it helped a bit, but it still gave me random breakouts, and didn't improve the look of my skin much.. plus I had a reaction to the 3rd step of it :S .. so please don't suggest it! haha
Best home made cheap skin cleansing routine (day and night)?
Hello im looking for the best home made skin cleansing routine that i could do every morning and night. im 16 and have moderate acne. Ive tried and known about things like the honey facial mask and lemon juice in water mix, egg yolk, patato peels, stuff like that. BUT i dont know in exactly what combination to use these treatments in and how exactly to apply them. I was wondering if someone could help me make up a solid and good routine that i can do morning and night to fix my acne problem.
Really, really bad acne problem. What now?
I've had this acne problem on my face ever since I was 13. I am now 20. I've just about tried everything under the sun. Dermatologists, prescriptions such as benzoyl peroxide, tazorac, minocycline; I've tried lights, home remedies, toothpaste, zinc cream, tea tree oil, honey, salicylic acid, washing face 2-3 times daily... etc. All of these treatments help for a little while, but then the breakouts come back. It is so frustrating that sometimes I just want to cry. I'm tired of wearing makeup to hide them. Personally I think its make it worse, so I try to go as long as I can without wearing it. But I have so many scars. The worst part of my face is my chin. I can't remember the last time I had a clear chin. Right now it feel swollen.
Is there anyone here that's faced this same problem? Is there any hope?
What is the best way to treat blackheads?
Really my only acne problem is an occasional spot on my chin, but I have a lot of blackheads on my nose and chin and I am sick of them. They make me feel like my skin is horrible. I have dry sensitive skin so what do you recommend for them? A face wash? A Cream? A face mask? Anything that may really help. I've tried pore strips and yes they pull stuff out but not a lot and I feel like they just pull off skin.
