Are acne treatments such as Proactive safe for women who are pregnant or trying to conceive?
Since going off my birth control to try to conceive, my acne has flared big time. My dermatologist does not recomend using over the counter acne medicine such as Persa-Gel which contains benzoyle peroxide becuase it is unknown if it is safe for pregnant women or women who are trying to conceive. I have used Proactive in the past and it has worked really well for me. I am not pregnant but am trying to conceive. Ultimately I plan to consult my OBGYN on this but I'm curious to find out what information others have.

I had been used acne medicine from my dermatologist. It worked very well but the bad news is it peeled off my skin! I tried many other products for acne treatment, it doesnt work for me! Then, i heard about Arbonne. I have been using Arbonne (Arbonne Clear Advantage System) for a week now. I dont see any improvement on my skin. In fact, i see more acnes come out. WHat should i do now? DO i have to continue or stop? How much longer i have to use it to see that it will work for my skin? Any recommendation for other acne medicine products?
Proactiv doesnt work for me!
My acne is not that bad. It is just small acnes that come out after i use Arbonne product. Even though it is just small acnes, but there are many on my cheeks. it is very annoying you know...
Yeah when i used acne medicine from my dermatologist, my acne was gone! but it peeled off my skin everyday which means my skin became dry. i even couldnt put my makeup on..
yeah i agree.. i hate that stupid 3 steps of Proactiv. C'mon guys, stop telling me about Proactiv! PROACTIV does not work for me...
How to get rid of Acne/ Pimples?

I burned the side of my face with acne medicine!?
I never ever break out but several days ago I got this big, cluster of red painful acne on the side of my face. I'd never had anything like this before (I've had a pimple here and there, but not bright red and painful).
So my sister had this prescription acne medicine called Tretinoin, and I started using it every night along with an exfoliating acne gel underneath.
Then last night I noticed that it was peeling and even redder than before, so I used a less harsh spot treatment on it instead. As soon as I put it on my face last night, it burned so much! I figured the pain meant it was working, so I ignored it and went to bed.
This morning I woke up to a horrible brown burned patch on the side of my face that's peeling and dry. It's horrible looking and make-up won't even cover it! It's rough and all brown and disgusting looking.
I just washed my face, but what can I do to make it look a little better by the morning? Obviously, no more acne medicine - but what else can I do? I have almost everything, so any suggestions?

won't pop. So, how do i know if their heat bumps
or not? and what will make them go away?
I don't have money to go to the doctors

What kind of acne medicine is the best?
I am 32 and I've never ever had issues with acne. Even when I went through puberty I never had acne. I am now getting it and I hate it. I have tried using Clean and Clear w/no luck. I generally will put Neosporin on them after I've gotten out the yuck. Since I've never had to deal with it I have no idea what kind of acne medicine is the best. Is there a prescription spot treatment that works well or any other treatment that you've had good luck with? Does Proactive really work or no? I am really hating my skin right now for the 1st time ever and I want to fix it now. Thanks for any information you can give me. :)
How can i prevent my skin to get dry and flaky after taking acne medicine?
So when im taking my acne medicine my skin gets UNBEARABLY dry. How can i prevent this? Everytime i start my acne medication i quit after a couple weeks because i couldnt take the dry skin. But this time i want to successfully complete the treatment but i know there has to be a way for me to reduce the dryness of my skin

I put on acne medicine on and i noticed all of these blackheads like rising. so i got out postage tape and put them over it. 5 minutes later i peeled off the tape. I noticed little things that were white. Is that what color they look like? or are they black?
How long does the acne medicine Epiduo take to get used to?
so my doctor gave me a persciption for the acne medicine Epiduo and i've only used it four nights straight cause i just got it but i was wondering how long it takes for it to stop burning because the first two nights i used it it didnt burn at all but the night before and tonight it burns. i've read how it works and the doctor told me to put it on every night before i go to bed. if you've used Epiduo and have any reviews feel free to post them. I'm 13 (if that matters?) and my acne isnt severe i mainly have blackheads on my nose and chin and whenever i breakout with pimples its on my forehead usually. Epiduo has made my skin peel mainly on my nose and today i was out and later in the night my face felt sunburned but i read that can happen. my skin was slightly dry even before i started using Epiduo and i have sensitive skin sooo.. i havent used my other normal face cleaner because i dont want it to be too strong so im basically just using Epiduo. plz post your reviews i wanna know
