Acne scars, getting my pale skin back, dark circles?
Acne Scars: For 3-4 years now I've been battling acne, it's practically all gone now but then you have the scars. They range from light tan ones to ones that are almost black. Home remedies please (:
Pale Skin+Dark circles: I'm chinese and I used to have EXTREAMLY pale skin. almost white and now I have a really tanned skin colour. I know it's not a sun-tan situation, it's just my skin really has gotten darker. I'm thinking it has something to do with the whole acne and scars on my face, maybe the skincare products I'm using?* Then again, for these last few years I've also had really bad sleeping habits, I'm starting to fix that but for a general idea I used to sleep at about 3 am everyday and wake up by 7am. Which is why I also have really bad dark circles ( Are they really caused by lack of sleep?), home remedies or drugstore eyecream suggestions <3
*Currently using regularly: The Body Shop Tea tree facial wash, day moisturizer, night lotion and aloe toner. St.Ives apricot scrub for blemish and blackheads and peel off hydroxy masque. Clean and clear advantage blackhead clearing mask, panoxyl antibacterial acne gel ( 5% benzoyl peroxide, alcohol base for oily skin) and L'oreal age prefect pro calcium for eyes and lips. No make-up.
Occasionally: Clean and clear morning burst shine control scrub, Biore moonlighting night moisturizer and Bio-oil.
I'm drinking about 7-10 cups of water everyday but as for eating well, my mom tends to stick with the same stuff, no variety =.= So I don't really quite get all the nutients I need, but I'm trying to convince her to get me vitamins (Suggestions?)
Are any of thes items useless or a waste of money for having good skin?
I'm a 14 year old girl and I want to have really nice skin, so I did some research and came up with this skin regimen:
-cleanse daily, once when I wake up and once before bed

Yesterday, at the store, when I picked up all these items my mom convinced my not to buy them because they were "a waste of money". Do you think any of these things are a waste of money? I was gonna buy it with my own money even! What do you think and how can I buy what I want without my mom interferring? Thanks for answering :)
over drying reaction to neutrogena acne products?
i just bought neutrogena's stress control power-foam cleanser along with the 3-in-1 hydrating acne gel that it comes with. it seemed to be working fine for a couple days until my skin started getting all itchy and dry. i usually only get acne on my t-zone but i put it all over my face just to prevent acne. its like theres a small rash around my cheeks and chin but you cant see it. its just really rough. could this be an allergic reaction or overdrying of the skin? and what should i do about it?

I burned the side of my face with acne medicine!?
I never ever break out but several days ago I got this big, cluster of red painful acne on the side of my face. I'd never had anything like this before (I've had a pimple here and there, but not bright red and painful).
So my sister had this prescription acne medicine called Tretinoin, and I started using it every night along with an exfoliating acne gel underneath.
Then last night I noticed that it was peeling and even redder than before, so I used a less harsh spot treatment on it instead. As soon as I put it on my face last night, it burned so much! I figured the pain meant it was working, so I ignored it and went to bed.
This morning I woke up to a horrible brown burned patch on the side of my face that's peeling and dry. It's horrible looking and make-up won't even cover it! It's rough and all brown and disgusting looking.
I just washed my face, but what can I do to make it look a little better by the morning? Obviously, no more acne medicine - but what else can I do? I have almost everything, so any suggestions?
Murad Acne Complex starter kit (Sephora) process qs.?
So I got this Murad Acne Complex kit from Sephora on Sunday. It includes the cleanser (1) Toner (1) Acne spot treatment (2) Exfoliating Acne treatment Gel (2) and the Skin perfecting lotion (3). Those are the steps. According to the labels, this is how my routine goes.
1. Cleanser
2. Toner
3. Exfoliating Acne treatment Gel
4. Acne Spot treatment
5. Skin perfecting lotion
On the little flap at the bottom of the box (includes the same drug facts as on the little bottles themselves. it has the Acne spot treatment before the exfoliating Acne gel. Is this how I should follow the routine. I mean both are step 2, it doesn't say ANYWHERE which one is recommended to put on 1st between those 2 I just mentioned... Help? Or am I doing it right?
No bad reactions ( skin purging) yet. My face's "T zone" is a LITTLE less "oily" too. :) not too many results yet, 24 hrs. have no passed since my last application and my 1st. On to day 2! My acne (combination skin) is not severe. No dryness is a plus! Cetaphil cleanser used to dry my face a bit...
How do I use Murad Acne Complexs?
I know this sounds stupid but the instructions were very ambiguous and not specific.. Can someone please clear this out for me?
This is how I see it..
Step 1: use clarifying cleanser, but wash it off
2: Use the Exfoliating Acne Gel, let it dry..then proceed
3: use the lotion.
4: Here is where I am confused, do I put the spot treatment after or before the lotion
I just got murad acne complex and i need some tips?
after the first step which on do i use first, exfoliating acne gel, clarifying mask or on the spot treatment?
tell me the order you use it in
