Severe chest/back acne breakout?
Within the last few days, I have noticed that my chest and back have broken out with a lot of acne. I first noticed this when I took my shirt off after working outside all day in the humidity. I have never had much acne on my chest or back (I'm 22 years old), and I'm a little worried since I have so much acne develop in such little time. What could be the cause of this and how can I get rid of it?? Thanks in advance.
im 22 and STILL getting pimples! any help?
i'm 22 years old and still have acne all over my face. they are not big gross nasty ones but those little annoying ones under the skin. i have combination skin where its oily on my forehead, t zone and chin then dry on my cheeks. occasionally i get a big painful pimple along my hairline or on my chin. i have blackheads on my nose and i wash my face daily...i wear makeup. i have used stride x, clearasil, clean and clear, biore, olay, noxema, nutragena (which gave me a serious bacterial infection), products from avon, and st. ives...different times over the past 6 years. i dont have a ton of money for like proactive or differen and like i said they are not huge pimples where i would need that stuff. any suggestions or even simple at home treatments? ive tried toothpaste and that does NOTHING! please help and no lame answers PLEASE!
What are the best acne treatments available? 22 yr old male?
I've had to deal with acne since I was in my younger teens. It got bad then went away for a while and once I got out of my teens I thought I was done dealing with it. I am now 22 years old and still have acne and it is breaking out bad. I went to the doctors and received prescriptions for doxycycline hyclate and tretinoin cream. These prescriptions did start to work after a few days and I did notice results. However after about a month and a half of taking it now my acne is coming back worse than before. I have also been using clearasil vanishing cream to help cover up the acne(since I'm a guy and can't use make up) and that seems to be drying out my face burning and making my acne worse. I normally have oily skin and thought I would try it. I have tried proactive, neutrogena products and a lot of other over the counter products in the past. I've also tried natural products like egg whites, honey which helped the oiliness but not the acne. I do not know what is causing it. I drink plenty of water and eat healthy. I also take 1-2 flax seed oil capsules per day. I am trying to get this to go away asap or at least calm down some until I get to a dermatologist who knows what their doing since my last doctor didn't. Does anyone know of any products that I can get to show results immediately and/or any good vitamins I could take a long with my prescription.
how do i do to heal my chest acne?
im 22 years, I've had this problem since i was 14. Thanks !
accutane and dermatologists?
Im a male 22 years old. My brother in law in Mexico who is a doctor sent me a box of 30/20mg pills of Accutane...he recommended one a day. I only took those thirty pills and my back acne was so much better. I still get some breakouts now and then but not as before. I even feel that the pills helped with the scaring and all that bad stuff. It's been 4 or 5 months now since I took those thirty pills and my skin is getting rough again...not as much breakups. I went to the dermatologist here in the U>S and he said..."NO...I wouldn't recommend Accutane for your back, it'll be too dangerous, I'll give you some antibiotics" But I used to take antibiotics and were not as effective as the accutane. I did feel some of the side effects, including the depression but that was it. I needed to continue the treatment for 6 months in order for it to work properly but unfortunately I couldn't get it form my dermatologist here. Should I continue buying it from Mexico, or is it too dangerous for my health
