Why do people make more of an uproar when you don't wash your hands after you urinate? DETAILS!?
This goes mostly for males, I guess.
I decided to give all your great brains a break from politics for a minute since you're probably frying them with stupidity more than crack does.
Ok, get this... The male’s member sits in his pants all day and touches nothing but his underwear... Or in some cases their pants, but our hands touch everything, and then when we go to the bathroom everything we touch has now spread.
So wouldn’t it be cleaner if you washed your hands before you go to the bathroom as opposed to afterwards? Well unless you hit your hand somehow, which I never have a problem with personally.
I think this all just goes into the basics of humans being afraid of their “private” areas.
You can just wash before and after, but that takes up soooo much time in this electric wheelchair, on the go nation.

Being obsessive about hand washing I think I can answer this for you. That is your private area, not mine, an I dont want to shake your hand, touch a door knob after you or have you come to my kitchen and touch anything I will be using that will go to my mouth. Think about it, when you urinate you are getting rid of the toxins your body doesnt want. I certainly dont want them, so leave them where they belong, in the bathroom sink drain preferably with some antibacterial soap washing them down. Believe it or not, i do wash my hands before and after going to the bathroom. It only takes a minute each time. And I do agree with you on that, the human hands are one of the dirtiest parts of the body, thats why I am obsessive.

It’s sanitary. I don’t want anyone who’s hands have been near urine eating with me.

No, you risk getting urine on your hands. AND, you touch facilities that where men who do get urine on their hands don’t wash their hands. It’s a transfer of contamination from hands to hands. You touch the door, you touch the flush lever, you touch the wall, whatever. You have been contaminated just by touching something in the restroom. So, if you don’t wash your hands, which have been contaminated, then touch your wee wee again, you have contaminated it, thus contaminating everything else you touch. Urine is nasty.

Well my wife tells me that my member smells disgusting from all of that sweat and stuff. So I would have to say that since its in your underwear or pants, or kilt in some cases, it still has some bacteria on it and sweat makes that bacteria grow like a veritable petri dish, and then it smells awful from all of the gasses that the bacteria release.
So when you handle your equipment at a urinal, you are touching a whole load of fresh bacteria, which probably smells funny too.
And when you don’t wash your hands and remove that smelly, disgusting bacteria and get it on food or something, it might grow some more and get someone sick.
Think of it this way. Would you want to eat a hamburger that has someone’s hoo hah germs all over it because he shook his thing and then handled your food?
Methinks not.

Because it has to do with waste disposal and the spread of disease.

I would prefer that you wash your hands after you urinate please. Having worked with men a lot, I observe that at least half don’t wash at all.

It has to do with the bacteria that grows in the warm environment of your shorts that can be spread if you don’t wash after handling yourself.
Yes, washing before is good also.

I htinkwe should compromise & wash our hands WHILE urinating. That would also save time.
