  1. I was diagnosed a year ago as a type 2 diabetic with an A1C of 5.9….my last A1C was 5.2 I have read that no action should be taken before 7.0…Why is my doctor having me take actos when I`m in the non diabetic range…?

  2. I am in the same range. Developed T2 after being GDM. I now have high triglycerides, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, and heart disease. I am 43. Along with diet and exercise, medications can protect your pancreas and give you the energy you need to keep up with a more healthy lifestyle. Good luck!
