Type 1 Diabetes Lena gymnastics meet
This is Lena at her level 6 gymnastics meet. She won the all around! Lena was diagnosed with type one diabetes when she was four years old and is on an insulin pump. She is an inspiration to other children with type 1 diabetes. She trains in the gym 22 hours a week and is very happy and healthy!

have u ever disconnected for a few hours..and then in a rush had to connect again without the numbing cream? the needles hurt then, i tell you!
and wow..oh my gosh..she is awesome at gymnastics, and such a fighter especially having diabetes..wow!! she is like a idol!

Thank you for posting that my daughter is 4yr on a pump also , she’s been diabetic for 2yrs now , and we loved watching your daughter and it shows her diabetes doesn’t stop you achieving everything you want to do. thanks and thanks Lena for being an inspiration

If this is who i think it is then this girl goes to my skool!!!!!!!!!! Cuz it looks like her, she has diabetes, and is in gymnastics! In P.E. she does lots of tricks

She is really good! She has a nice split jump on beam! She deserved to win! She seems like a very nice girl! I feel bad for her cause she has to deal with the diabetes. Well, good luck in your gymnastics and managing your diabetes!

i have diabetes and have to do insulin injections four times or more a day, im hopefully going onto a pump early this year (:

My daughter is a Level 6 gymnast and she just turned 10. She was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes at 7and a half. I would love to know how you deal with the pump and gymnastics. You are a great gymnast, keep up the good work
