Professionals: I'm growth hormone deficient, best way to start exercising again w/o exhausting myself?

I've been left hypopituitary following removal of a golf-ball-sized pituitary tumor in 11/06. Though my size hasn't changed much, I'm so much fatter now because of the growth hormone deficiency. It's like all of my muscle went away. I've started replacement therapy but I still exhaust easily, have little energy, and can't recover from exercise very well. I've tried starting up again but it takes me 3 days to get back to (what is now) normal. I know I need to get active again to protect my bone density and overall health. Any advice from professionals on how to go about it without making myself sick?
