I had to stop and call my son to come and push it back home today.
It always keep going until it got to the red bars. Now it wants to stop on the yellow bars..
The plates in the batteries are getting sulfated. You may be able to recover some capacity with a equalization charge or blow off some of the sulfates with a dangerous reverse polarity shock but the best thing to do is to replace the batteries. There are battery shops where they dissemble the batteries, grind down the plates and reassemble with fresh acid. You can probably get a remanufactured battery there cheaper. Indeed, you should let them do the equalization charge rather than try yourself as the electrolyte will boil and hydrogen gas will be produced, they’re used to doing dangerous things like that.
In general, you don’t want to do a deep discharge if you can avoid it. The best thing to do is recharge at 50%.
the batteries are most likely dieing and soon they will not be able to hold a charge at all. if u didn’t get the chair all that long ago it may still be under warranty. also if you are big and fat ( no offense ) Or you are constantly going up and down hills or u are not giving the Batteries proper time to charge then that can mess with the batteries and lower their life expectancy considerably

Replace the battery. Even rechargeable batteries die eventually.
