I haven't got acne yet, but should i still use product?

At the moment, i dont have acne, i just have slightly oily skin, a few tiny blackheads, and the odd zits coming here and there once in a while.
However, i totally want to prevent getting acne, or at least do my best.
I wash my face with expholiating face wash every night, with a product recommended by a beauty salon.
I recently bought 'Loreal Pure Zone Purifying Gel', which when i tried it last night, i woke up with less blackheads and overall a slighter smoother skin..but then i researched a bit on the internet and some said that it was a bad product, which burnt peoples skin and others recommended it highly.
So, my questions really are:
what is the best way to prevent acne?
should i use product such as the loreal one even though i do not suffer from acne?
and last but least..what have you experianced/heard from that product?

Help would be muchly apprieciated :)
Also, my mother had acne when she was young, and my older sister has a bad case of it too.
Where as, my dad never had a problem with acne.
Is there chance that i too will end up with skin like my dad?

(:

please&thanks ^^

  1. All you need to get is Neutrogena’s pump face wash for blemish and problem skin. Then switch it with Cetaphyl anti-bacterial soap and use cold witch hazel as a toner. Cetaphyl also makes a non-comedomic moisturizer. Do all this and you skin will clear up like magic. But you do have to do it at least morning and night. I wish you luck with this. It is reasonable and works great. If you can get a hold of Queen Helene’s green face mash…put some on before you go to be and wal’la! All gone the boo boos.

  2. It never hurts to start taking care of your skin before you have problems.

If your skin doesn’t seem sensitive to the product than it should be just fine.

Always use a moisturizer with sunscreen in it EVERYDAY. I like oil of olay for sensitive skin.

  3. ive never used that particular product, but all products work very differently on different people, so if its working for you, i say go for it.

what you should really consider is this:does the product doesnt dry out your skin, make it red, or irritate it in any way?
if no, then im sure its okay to use it to prevent acne and treat the blackheads and whatever else you may have.

if it does irritate your skin at all, dont use it!
    its as simple as that!

    good luck!

  4. If you don’t have acne then you should be careful on what your using. I have never had acne and all I do is was my face daily. One cause of acne is to many products on the skin. If you really do want to use a face product try investing in Mac. Although I use clean and clear and it works perfectly aside from my face getting a bit oily sometimes its clear, clean, and acne free.
As for loeral it depends on your skin it works for some types and not others, if it is not irritating you then it might work just becareful on usage. It is a decent brand

  5. The best way to prevent acne is to have the right genes. My skin is basically like the description you have above but I don’t get acne at all. I am a bit lazy to use any sort of product but I still have never got any. Some people are lucky enough to have perfect skin, not many but there are quite a few who don’t get acne so hopefully that’s you too. So don’t worry about it too much because you may never get it, I don’t know too much about acne, but I think it appears early on so you might be ok.

Best way for good skin is eat healthily, drink water and wash off make-up and sweat with water or a cleanser, which isn’t that hard to do.

I haven’t used that product you mentioned myself but if it is specially for acne, I don’t think you should use but otherwise go ahead. There are heaps of products to help give you clear skin but aren’t specifically for a particular skin problem and you can tell that from the packaging so try one of them. As I mentioned, I haven’t actually used Loreal Pure Zone Purifying Gel but Loreal is quite a reputable brand so I would imagine it would be pretty good, if you are using it correctly according to instructions.

  6. Keep oil away.
    Increase skin cell turnover.

  7. you can get proactiv, it does help to prevent. its expensive to like buy but you can get free samples for a few months from this site: http://funkurl.com/mkcx . Its really helped me with my acne

  8. if you dont have acne but for the blackheads, oily skin and zits you can use skin poducts with salicylic acid, like cleanser and mositurizer it will dissolve oil in your pores. it can also smoothen your face and use non comedogenic and oil free products. Always wear sunscreen indoor and outdoor. About the Loreal purezone, ive tried it before but my face becomes too oily that’s why i stopped using it.

  9. dont use products before acne period because you can breakout. EVEN BEFORE!! trust me, i know trying to prevent it and using products before it. i broke out everywhere!!

if you want to prevent it another way, i say use ice.
    not harmful or risksy.

  10. Hi! Even though you have younger skin it’s very important to customize your skincare to your needs. Please register on my website http://www.marykay.com/amanda.griffin and fillout the customer profile section. Based on your needs and current skincare needs I will recommend products that are right for your skin type. Can’t wait to help you!

  11. It’s better to use products that are recommended professionally to you than what people tell you over the internet for the sole reason that most of the people answering are not skin care professionals, and even if they all were they haven’t analyzed your skin.

That said, just keep your skin clean, use an alcohol free toner, and an oil free moisturizer with SPF. Drink plenty of water, and make sure you keep your cell phone clean, and your hair off of your face. Try to find some way of winding down every day, as stress can trigger acne breakouts. If you are very young (going through puberty) there is only so much you can do. Teen acne is often caused by hormonal changes, and therefore is difficult to prevent or treat topically.

Just be gentle. Don’t overdo anything – it can backfire. If you strip your skin of its natural barrier (called the acid mantle), it will react by producing more oil in an attempt to protect itself.

  12. you dont have acne why use the product

  13. I suggst you try taking some supplements. I have very bad acne previously and have seen been taking Flak Seed Oil and my skin has NEVER BEEN SO CLEAR Before….All my frens have been commenting about my improved complexion and asked me if I had went to skin professionals for help..Haa!!!
