How would severe starvation be treated in a hospital?

I need a DETAILED account of how someone with severe (near death) starvation would be treated in a hospital. I know it would involve introducing nutrients little by little. How long would it take until the person (female young adult) is COMPLETELY healthy again? What would the entirety of the treatment involve?
Also, what symptoms would be present at different times of treatment?

  1. this would involve, first, slowly introducing nutrients through iv. then slowly getting said person to eat, small portions, and getting them back to a healthy weight. after, they would most likely go through a LOT of therapy and a lot of checkups and even more time in the hospital, depending on how much damage the starvation did.
